"You what?!?!" nagulat si Gerald sa sinabi ni Cristine.

"I went to her office and talked to her. I got my answer naman, so it was good."

"Pilya mo talaga, Miss Beautiful."

"I told you, I'll bring the surprise," sabay kindat kay JV.

"Taken na yan, Miss Beautiful. Sa akin mo na lang ikindat yang magaganda mong mata," saway ni Fred sa babae.

"Heh! I'm taken too, you know."

"Sabi ko sa 'yo Fred."

"Ganun ba? Eh di heartbroken na naman ako?"

"Ganun na nga," sagot naman ni Ali.

At nagkatawanan sila.

Iyon ang eksenang narinig ni Asher.

"Teka lang, I wanna get some drinks from the cafeteria. You want some?" tanong ni JV kay Cristine.

"Fresh orange juice will be fine, thanks."

"Paano kami brod?"

"Bahala kayo sa buhay nyo!" At lumabas na ito ng pinto.

Paglabas ni JV sa pintuan, nakita niya si Asher na paalis.

"Asher?"

Lumingon ang babae. "Hi."

"I thought you're gone. May kailangan ka pa ba kay Gerald?"
