Widowmaker x Reader Part 2

I thought you didn't love me that's why I pushed you away.
"Hey (y/n)! Look I can finally do that stupid move!"

"That's awesome Amélie! Soon you'll be able to go on stage! Don't worry I'll be supporting you! Don't forget me when you become a star."

"You know I'd never do that!"

I smile at him as I feel my heart swell. This is where I'm supposed to be.

You never told me what was on your mind.
"Hey Amélie, I have something to tell you."

"Hey (y/n) can I tell you something?"

We look at each other and laugh.

"You can say it first Amélie."

"Ok well you know how I said I had my eye on a certain someone? Well he finally asked me out! Isn't that great (y/n)? Gerard and I are now an official couple! I'm so happy I could scream!"

My smile may be big but it's all fake. Gerard isn't the man I love. I love you. please please tell me why. Stop me from living a lie. But you didn't, you just smile at me as I waste my love life away.

This was an endless road I didn't want to follow.
"Hey (y/n). Where are you going? I thought we were going to our cafe?"

He looks at his phone. Why does he have a suitcase. Is he leaving? No he promised to stay with me.

"Oh yeah, about that. I'm, how do I say this."

"Say what (y/n)?"

"I'm... I'm leaving France."

I couldn't believe what I'm hearing. He's leaving me. But he- he promised we'd be together forever.

"Leaving?! But why?!"

I-I no please! I can't lose him! There has to be something I can do to stop him. He's slipping away and I can only say what's been in my heart ever since he helped me all those years ago.

"Oh and (y/n), it was never Gerard I wanted to be the groom at my wedding. I wanted the man who's always been there for me, I just never thought you loved me."

He doesn't even give me a second glance as he walks away. I break down on the sidewalk as I saw the man I love leave me forever.

Now here you are again in my life but at what cost.
It can't be. (Y/n)?! He's alive. Last I saw anything g about him he was caught in a gang scandal and left for dead. I tried to find a body but nothing was left.

"(Y/n)?"

"He'd dead. I'm whats left of him."

"I- I understand."
Lies, anger, and fear kept us apart but are now the only things keeping us close.
"Why does it matter Widowmaker? (Y/n) did love Amélie but neither of them are here anymore."

My heart feels like it shattered as I hear him. He was my everything, we could've had a happy life. My anger became more then my sadness.

"Why did you never tell me! I loved you since we first went to our cafe!"

"I have nothing to say to you. Get your rifle and get to your position. We're on a job Widow."

"(Y/n)! I knew you better then you knew yourself! We could've had a happily ever-"

"You didn't know shit. I did everything for you, I was your 'man of honor' at your wedding because I wanted you to have the best life imaginable. I was happy for you, I was ok with giving up most of my life away, but to hear you say you loved me? That was just fucked up. If you really did love me you would've stuck with me, would've said no to Gerard, and you wouldn't have made me feel guilty for trying to move on."
