Possesive vampire Mercy x Reader

Warnings: mentions blood, killing, a small descriptive scene about a murder, and holding someone hostage.

~(y/n) POV~

I watch the sun set as I look out the giant window. A soft sigh escapes my lips as I feel cold embrace my body, but I'm used to this. I'm at my house near the woods. The same woods I met her.

"Hello (y/n)~ how have you been?"

"Good. I've been a bit lonely around here, but what's new?"

I look behind me and see her beautiful shining eyes but she also had a lot of red staining her face and clothes.

"Back from another successful feeding?"

"*giggles* yes. Today I had more of a challenge to capture my prey but a challenge is always so exciting! Don't you think my love?"

I lightly chuckle as I feel her hands on my shoulder. She lightly nuzzles her face on the crook of my neck. We stay like this for a few minutes, just enjoying each other's company.

I met Angela four years ago when I was camping in the woods and a bear was going to kill me. Turns out I was too close to the bears den so she was protecting her cubs from me, but before her claws could make contact with me, a blurred figure jumped in the way, blocking the attack. I stared in awe as this small woman was able to hold back the bears claw but push the 290-400 pound (130-180kg) bear away enough for both of us to make a run for it. I remember how she was concerned for me and the toothy smile she gave me. Ever since then we've been inseparable.

"Hey (y/n)?"

"Yeah Angie?"

"I was thinking, since it's our anniversary of being boyfriend and girlfriend, why don't we hang out in the park?"

"Sure babe. Let me just go get into better clothes."

She cutely nods her head. Her blue eyes shining with excitement. It's been a few weeks sconce we've been able to go out on a proper date or to even be able to hang out together, so this will be good for the both of us.

~tiny time skip~

We finally make it to the park as Angela cuddles onto my left arm. I smile down at her every once in a while because I feel pure happiness with her. I hope this feeling never fades.

"So (y/n), I was thinking maybe next time after I do a feeding, I can take you so we can watch the night sky together and to-Oh! Lookie! There selling ice cream! Can we go get some?"

"Of course. Anything for you my love."

Her smile was brighter than the sun times a hundred. As we're walking a huge gust of wind hits us, making Angela lose her hat.

"Ahh! My hat! Uh sweetie can you go get us our ice cream while I chase that darn hat?"

"Yeah I will. Just make sure you get your hat before 10:00. I love you."

"I love you too my king."

We share a quick kiss as Angela rushes for her hat. I walk and see it's a lady, maybe 23-26 servicing the ice cream. Calmly I look at the opinions until I hear her start to stutter.

"Oh-I um-yeah-uh how-how can I help you t-today sir?"

"Yeah can I have (ice cream you enjoy) and vanilla swirl please."

"Y-Yeah sure."

I give her the money and patiently wait for the ice cream until I see the woman keep her eyes on me a bit too long. I don't mention it. I keep a look out for Angela until the woman behind the counter begins to have short conversations with me.

"So uh sir? H-how long have you known your lady friend?"

"A few years. Why?"

"It's just that, I always see her around here at night but this is the first time she's had company with her. Sorry if I seem, uh weird."

"No it's fine. We've actually been in a relationship for about a year now and I can honestly say I've never been happier."

"That's sweet. I remember when I first met my girlfriend, it was the best day of my life."

We share a happy laugh as the woman gives me the two cones. Suddenly her eyes grow wide and she stiffens up. I look back and see Angela with her cute smile and her hat. I wave bye to the ice cream lady as Angela and I leave to walk around he park.

"You were being too friendly (y/n)."

"Huh?"

"With that lady. You were being too friendly."

"I was just talking with her, it was nothing, I promise."

Angela doesn't say anything and goes back to eating her ice cream. We continue to walk in silence until a huge dog comes from nowhere and nearly takes me down.

"Ow.. hi there puppy. Where's your owner?"

"Are you ok liebe?"

"Yeah I just got the wind knocked out of me. So what's your name puppy."

"Harley! There you are girl. I'm so sorry sir, she's usually never like like this. I'm Catherine by the way."

Catherine put out her hand for me to shake until she hisses in pain. I hear a low growl and I see Angela's eyes go pure red. I couldn't stop her as she tore into her rib cage, or when Catherine screamed for help, I take a step back as Harley whimpers and hides behind me.

Angela looks back, blood dripping from her mouth and claws, her eyes stay red but her smile returns.

"You're not allowed to see her anymore, we can keep the dog because it's cute."

"What was that?" My voice is a little over a whisper as I'm still trying to process what happened.

"I couldn't stand how she was looking at you. She was going to take you away from me, and I can't let that happen now can I?"

I try to walk backwards until Angela lunges at me. I feel a sharp pain in my neck as my body loses all feeling, like I'm not in control anymore.

"You're mine (y/n). You belong to me and I promise to protect you from anything that comes between us."

My body feels like it's being filled with a burning sensation. I try to cry out but my mouth feels like it's glued together. Small tears form at the end my eyes as I feel her icy touch on my face.

"You belong to me liebe."

My eyes begin to grow heavy and I fight to keep them open. I fall to the ground and see Angela's beautiful blue eyes, and I hear her sweet voice.

"I love you (y/n)~ sleep well~."

My vision went black as the burning sensation completely filled my being.
