Mercy x Talon Medic Reader

~(y/n) POV~

I grab a cast as I look over at the blushing Sombra and the embarrassed  Widowmaker. Sombra was trying to be cute and give Widow a surprise party but Widow accidentally shot Sombra when she randomly jumped in her face.

"Next time just make her a surprise dinner or something that won't involve you getting hurt."

"Fine. How long will my arm need a cast?"

"Only about a few weeks. Three if you're careful and around five if you do anything stupid."

"Thanks (y/n). So Araña about that you want to hangout later."

Widow chuckles and grabs Sombra taking her out of my office. I try to clean my equipment but then Reyes calls for me through the intercom.

"(Y/n) report to the front immediately."

Grumbling I walk to see what Reyes did, he probably tried to out-bench Doomfist again. After seven minutes I reach the front but everything seemed.....off.

"What did you do this time Reap......Why is Mercy here and why's she unconscious?"

"Doomfist was able to kidnap her on the mission. Since Moira refuses to even be in the same room as her we need you to see if she's suffered any injuries. Understand?"

"Whatever."

Gently I pick up Mercy as I take her to my medical room. I look over and see her calm expression as my heart sinks and breaks. I put her on a bed and remember our last encounter.

~Flashback~
"(Y/n) you know it's suicide if you join them right?!"

"I know Mercy but what choice do I have? They said they'd hurt all of Overwatch if I didn't go and I'm not taking that chance."

"But (y/n) did it ever occur to you that we could help?! Did you ever think of that or how they'll corrupt you?"

"I don't care about that Mercy! I just care about keeping my family safe."

"But (y/n), please."

"No Angela! I'm not going to stay here anyway. Do you even know how tired I am. I just..... I just want this to end. I just wish I could start a family and be a dad and to be in the arms of my beloved. Is that to much to ask?"

She doesn't say anything as I look in her eyes. Tears silently fall down her cheeks as I hold back my own tears.

"G-goodbye Angela. This may be the last time I see you and I need to tell you, I-i love you."

I look at her as I leave but I hear her small voice.

"Ich liebe dich auch. Bitte verlass mich nicht. Ich bitte dich."

I have to bite my hand as I leave the base with only the clothes on my back. I didn't want to look back because I knew that if I did I would've stayed and Talon would've killed them, killed her and that's not something I want to live with.

~flashback end~

I eyes became misty but I don't let the tears fall, it's been seven years and I promised myself I wouldn't shed a tear until I knew I'd be able to hold her in my arms. Shaking my head  I begin to examine her. No fatal injuries but she will be bedridden for a week or so. Doomfist might've punched her to a wall. I growl under my breath just at the thought as I start thinking out loud about my "boss".

"Who does that bald ass mother fucker thinks he is? Some big shot so he can just waltz in and hurt my love? Next fucking time I see him I'm going to tear him a new one. How the fuck can someone just think 'look at this healer who's all alone.I'm just going to use my full strength to capture them if I didn't accidentally kill them'. Piece of shit."

*giggle.*

horror creeps into my eyes as I look over at Angela who's trying to stifle her laughter. She doesn't say anything as she goes into a laughing fit.

"Hahaha.Oh (y/n). Haha. It's good to know you haven't changed.*small giggle*"

"Angela! Oh Uh-h-Hey how, how long have you been awake?"

"Enough to know you still care for me."

My face becomes crimson as I try to think of a way to cover up my embarrassment but my mind goes blank. We stare at each other in an awkward silence that feels like years. Angela is the one that breaks it.

"So (y/n). How....how've you been?"

"I've been....good."

"Please don't lie to me meine geliebte. Please."

"I-I*sigh*. I've been awful. Working for Talon has me feeling like shit because I used to work with Overwatch so Reaper's always trying to get me to give him intel from six years ago, and I've barely been able to keep Moira away from me because she wants to use me as an experiment."

"I'm sorry (y/n). If there's anything you need either I or Overwatch can help."

"Anything? Hmm then if Overwatch can when they come for you, can they 'kidnap' me?"

"Kidnap? Why?"

"To get away from this hell hole even for a week. And because I miss being with you. I know things can't go back to how they were but a man can dream, I guess."

She looks at me before a soft smile spreads across her beautiful face. She only nods her head as she leans to me and captures my lips. Quickly but gently I kiss back and I feel so many emotions. Anger, guilt, sadness, but most of all happiness. I finally let myself feel the emotions I've bottled up for seven agonizing years. Tears fall down as I look at Angela, her smile never leaving but then I frown.

"You realize I can't leave Talon. Not yet anyway."

"Ich kenne meine Liebe, aber ich bin bereit, auf dich zu warten, egal wie lange es dauert."

Tears runs down my face like a waterfall as I gently cup her face and she cupping my face.

"I love you Angela Ziegler, and no force on earth can keep me from being with you."

"I love you (y/n) (y/l/n), and I will always love you until the end of eternity."

I look into her eyes as she looks into mine. We kiss as I feel that we aren't two people right now, but that we are one being. We pull apart as I feel all my worries fade away. I finally have my soulmate  back and this time I'm not going to lose her.
