I took my bag out of the back of the taxi, carefully putting my camera around my neck. Yes, I'm a photography major shut up. I had gotten there a couple of weeks early so I had time to explore the campus. I slung my duffle bag over my shoulder and paid the driver before attempting to find my dorm building.

The whole campus looked very old and rickety, but it was perfect for taking photos. I set my bag down and powered on my camera. I kneeled down, found the perfect angle making a mental note to edit it later.

I eventually found the building and walked up to the double doors pushing them open revealing a surprisingly modern interior. I stood there for a moment then walked in to get my key from the dorm manager, "Hi I'm the dorm manager Kurapika Kurta, may I ask your name and your major,"

"Uh yeah, Killua, and I'm majoring in photography," I responded hitching my bag up farther onto my shoulder, "All right, perfect," He/she/they? whatever said slowly flipping through a small stack of paper that was sitting on the desk in front of..., "Hey do you mind if I ask your pronouns," I asked

"I use he/him pronouns sorry about that, my appearance confuses some people," he said rubbing the back of his neck, "No need to apologize, I just didn't want to assume,"

He continued flipping through the packet until he reached the last page, "Killua... Zoldyck is that correct,"

I cringed at the mention of my last name, you see my family owns a company called Zoldyck IndustriesTM and my father wants me to take over the business. I neglected to mention that the company produces almost anything you could think of from food to electronics, you name it they make it.

What's most annoying is that my dad had his heart set on me being the next owner of it instead of one of my two older brothers, Illumi and Milluki, so when I told him I was gonna major in photography instead of business he threw a fit.

"Yeah, that's me," I said offering a blank expression

"Mkay," Kurapika reached behind him and grabbed one of the many MANY keys on the wall and handed it to me, "Your room number is 526 it's on the top floor," He said pointing towards the stairs

"Thanks," I said waving to him, I hooked the key around my keychain and started walking toward the stairs.

God, I hate people. I know I know, how cliché, whatever. I walked up 5 flights of stairs and finally reached the top floor and started searching for my dorm, "524, 525, 526, nice," I muttered

I opened the door and decided to pick my room, I don't really care which room I have so I just chose the one on the right, "Looks like I'm gonna have a roommate, how fun," I mumbled sarcastically

My room had a window which is freaking awesome, in the room, there was just the bare minimum, a lofted twin size bed with a small desk underneath it, and a vertical standing dresser. I unpacked my clothes, school stuff, my tripod, and the supplies I use to take care of and clean my camera's, yes I have two.

After I set everything up I decided to explore the campus, there isn't much to it, only a few courtyards different buildings for each subject, for example, there was a science building, an arts building, which is where I would be spending most of my time, and so on and so forth. I went back to my dorm to grab my computer so I could finish my opening assignment.

I finished all my freshman classes in high school, so the only classes I have to take are, digital arts, traditional arts, and photojournalism.

I settled for a shady spot under a large tree in one of the smaller gardens to edit the photos that weren't due for another two or three weeks.
