This is the story of how Yato found Kurapika with the the help of a 12 year old boy during the hunter exams. From there is where the true story begins. "Hey, Amane, why don't you take the hunter exam?" "..eh?" Amane Sweyne was a 13 year old girl from the Sweyne Clan, a talented clan of assassins, with strength rivalling that of the Zoldycks. Speaking of the Zoldycks, the Sweyne Clan and the Zoldyck Clan had a long history of rivalry, and the two clans were constantly butting heads with each other. Always trying to be better than the other clan, the two clans always lunged at an opportunity to outperform the other. Naturally, this meant that the Hunter Exam was one of those opportunities. "I heard it's incredibly challenging! I'm sure that this would be excellent training for you," said Amane's mother. "Sounds lame, I don't wanna go," replied Amane, looking down at her phone with a bored expression. Amane's mom narrowed her eyes, a smirk creeping it's way onto her face. "What if... I said that I heard somewhere that one of the Zoldyck children is planning to attend the exam?" Amane's head snapped back around with an audible crack, as she looked her mother in the eyes with a sudden look of interest. Of Predator and Prey. If you deal with something big, the next generation has to pay more than mere affliction for that. In this case though, only a few survived, and most victims saw terrifying things in the last seconds of their lives, while immediately regretting all hopes and bitterly dying in vain.
