"Momma, momma, momma...look what I can do! " Little Y/N said to her mom.
"What is it sweetie?" She looked down
Y/N squeezed her eyes shut as she started to shift into a small kitten then shifts back into her human form
"Oh, my y/n you finally got your quirk" her mother was happy and excited
"I don't just have that mommy. Watch! " As she tried to make shadow animals and then made a little blue and purple flames from her fingertips
"Oh my....you don't have just one quirk, you have three. I wonder if that's a rare trait?" She smiled
"I know, why don't we go to the park to celebrate?" Her mom bopped her on the nose
Little y/n smiled then giggled while jumping up and down with excitement"
"Go get you shoes on my little kitten"
"Ok momma" she ran to put her shoes on
little y/n started putting her shoes on until she heard her mom yell for her.
"Lets go y/n" while grabbing on to her little hand
Y/n was excited to go to the park. She let go of her mom's hand and ran into the park. While she was running, she accidently bumped into someone.
"Owe" she rubbed her head
"Are you ok?" The pink skinned girl with horns asked as she held out her hand to her
Y/n looked at the girl, blinking a bit in surprise while taking her hand
The pink skinned girl helped her up and smiled "what's your name? You're not from here aren't you?"
"Y- y/n L/n" she looked down in embarrassed a bit
"Mines Mina Ashido and his name is Fumikage Tokoyami. Oh, do you have a quirk??? I can do acid and he have dark shadow"
She looked at the one that was named Tokayami seeing a little black shadowed bird coming out of him. A bit frightened at first
"U-um..." As she kicked some dirt a bit "I-I have th-three..." As she kept her gaze down
Mina squealed with excitement "you have three??!! Thats so awesome y/n"
"You think so? You're not Sc-scared?"
"Why should we? Ooh can we see them? If it's all right with your mom."
"Let's go ask her real quick" as she grabbed both of they're hands and pulled them over towards her mom
"Mommy? C-can I show them my quirks?" As she asks shyly
"Of course, cupcake" her mom smiled while watching
Y/n smiled while turning around "Ok. Ready?" Both Mina and Tokoyami nods they're heads. Y/n squeezed her eyes shut as she shifts into a small kitten then shifts back into her human form. Then started to make shadow animals which brought out dark shadow. She giggled seeing dark shadow come out to play with her shadow animals. And then she made small blue and purple flames from her fingertips
Mina and Tokoyami smiled brightly
"Thats so cool!!!!" As they said at the same time
Y/n blushed at they're excitement till she heard someone whispered loud enough that they can hear
"Isn't that illegal? Did her mom paid someone to give her an extra one?" said the passerby.
Y/n started to pout while tears pricked at the sides of her eyes
Mina and Tokoyami looked at each other them back at y/n. She placed her hand on her shoulders and smiled "y/n your quirks are yours nobody else's and I don't think they're illegal. They're rare to have, I think. Nobody really seen anybody born with three quirks"
Y/n wiped her eyes and nods "do you want you be friends, I really don't have any since I moved here not that long ago"
Mina and Tokoyami nodded their heads
They smiled and hugged her then giggled
"Y/n it's time to go" her mom yelled out for her, along with minas and Tokoyamis
As all three went to their moms, she found out that mina was next door neighbor and that Tokoyami was few houses down from them
Years down the road Me, Mina and Tokoyami became awfully close best friends
Tokoyami helped me with my shadows while Mina helped make several types of animals. Even dark shadow liked how I made the shadow animals. Mina tried her best with my shapeshifting quirk then I started working on my fire as I started concentrate on my fire and not pay attention, Mina tapped on my shoulder which startled me, I lost control of it and accidently burnt her.
I got scared knowing what I just done to her "I-I-I'm sorry Mina..." As I said that I started to shift into a bunny and scurried away towards my house.
Mina blinked at the burnt mark then saw my face "Y/N its ok" but by the time she could stop me. I was already out of site.
Mina ran after me to my house knocking at the door numerous times.
My mom answered it "oh hey Mina. Y/N came home crying. Is everything ok?"
" We were practicing our quirks and I accidently scared her by tapping on her shoulder, so she accidently burnt me, but I tried to tell her that it was ok" as Mina scratched the back of her head showing my mom the burn mark
"Oh, mina I'm sorry that happened" she gave Mina a sorrowful frown
"Can I come in to tell her it was ok?" She looked down
"Sure Mina, she's probably in her room" as she opened the door all the way for her
Mina nodded as she slid off her shoes, then makes her way up the stairs to my room. She then knocked softly at my door "y/n....it's me, Mina."
I barely opened the door to my room; my eyes were all red and puffy from crying
"Y/N... can I come in?" A Mina said softly. I nod a little opening the door all the way allowing her to come in.
I kept my gaze down, tears still streaming down my cheeks. Mina held me in her arms "its ok y/n, you didn't hurt me that much. Hell, I get hurt as well from my own quirk."
I sniffed as I hugged her back then I heard mom yelled "y/n your brother Brad is coming here in a couple of weeks"
Mina tilts her head" you have a brother?"
I nodded "yea He's my older brother...his name is Brad"
Mina gave me a smile " oh have you applied for U.A high yet?"
I nodded once again " yea just waiting for the results"
