Author's Note...
Hey guys so sorry about not having a chapter for you guys last month. But I hope this one makes up for it. I ran into issues about how to write the Department of Mysteries scene and what to do about Sirius and the veil. I'm still not too sure about how I'm going to do it. But I hope whatever I do that you guys enjoy it.
Previously on The Twice Blessed Child...
"We should save him, for the twins." Harry said
"Okay. Enzo, Jeff." I said
There were two pops.
"Yes, Mistress." They both said
"Arthur Weasley has been attacked in the hall of Prophecy inside the Ministry of Magic. I want you to go there, find him, and take him to St. Mungo's. Also to inform Mrs. Weasley of what has happened. I think it will also be best to inform those at St. Mungo's that he was attacked by a very venomous snake." I said
"Of course Mistress." They both said
They both bowed and then with a pop they were both gone. I turn to face Harry and Dudley.
"And now we wait." I said
It didn't take long for someone to come into the Gryffindor tower to tell us that Mr. Weasley had been attacked and that we were being asked to come to Dumbledore's office. So Harry, Dudley, Fred, George, and I left the tower and made our way to Dumbledore's office. On our way, we ran into Ron, Ginny, and Hermione. We all shared a look before continuing on our way. When we got to his office we see him and McGonagall waiting.
"What is going on?" Ginny asked
"Your father has been injured in course of his work for the Order. He is alive and arrived at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries only a moment ago." Dumbledore said
All the kids in the room looked horrified by this knowledge.
"I will be sending all of you back to Sirius'. You will be starting Christmas break early. " Dumbledore said
A flash of flames appears over Fawkes' perch. A single feather floats to the ground.
"Faweks's warning. Umbridge knows you're out of bed. Minerva, head off. Tell her anything you can think of." Dumbledore said
McGonagall nods her head and departs the room like a good dog or in her case cat. Dumbledore then hands out two things that I assume to be portkeys. He hands one to me and one to Hermione.
"Fred, George, Dudley, and Ana you go together. Ron, Ginny, Hermione, and Harry you go together." Dumbledore said
Harry and share a look but we don't argue. Soon I feel the telltale signs of the portkey activating.
We appear in the kitchen of Grimmauld Place. Sirius hurries in.
"There you are." Sirius said
"We've got to go to St. Mungo's." Ginny said
"You can't." Sirius said
"We go where we please." Ron said
"You can't go yet. It would look too suspicious if you lot showed up fifteen minutes after Arthur arrives." Sirius said
