Previously on The Twice Blessed Child...
"It was Murder! Harry and Anastasia saw it happen!" Ron yells
The entire class as a group whips their head around to look at Harry and I.
"All I can say is that during the third task of the tournament Cedric died. I will also say that he was not killed by Voldemort." Harry said
Once again the class flinches at his name, Umbridge looks triumphant, Ron and Hermione looked shocked and betrayed.
"Lier. Voldemort killed Cedric, and you both know it." Ron yelled
Umbridge snatches a quill up and scribbles a note, and hands it to Ron.
"Take that to McGonagall and get out of my class," Umbridge said
Ron turns and storms out of the classroom. Umbridge went back to "teaching".
Once class was over we headed out of the class and saw Ron waiting outside the classroom.
"Did you take the note to McGonagall?" Hermione asked
"No, why would do anything that toad faced woman tells me to do," Ron said
"Ron you should just take the note to McGonagall and expect it." Angelina Johnson said
"No," Ron said
"Fine. How can Dumbledore let that horrible woman teach? And when we're taking our OWL tests too!" Hermione said
"You reckon she's here to spy on us?" Ron asked
"Well, not us specifically, but definitely Dumbledore and the Order." Hermione said
We went to walk past them but we were stopped by Angelina.
"So I was wondering what you guys planned to do about quidditch?" Angelina asked
"Nothing, there simply won't be a Gryffindor team." I said
"Why not it could Fred and George, myself and Bell, Harry, and whoever else wants to try out." Angelina said
"Angelina I don't think you understand. You aren't a member of the Gryffindor house. If we wanted a team would have one. And if we did have one, you wouldn't be on it because once again you aren't a member of Gryffindor. The sooner everyone understands that the better." Harry said
And with that, we turned and left to head to our next class.
When lunch came around we made sure to check in with all the first years to make sure they were all doing okay. Also to make sure no one was messing with them. So far the reports were all good.
When dinner came around we found that Umbridge was giving the same speech to each class no matter the year. It bugged me that once again we had a teacher that was not going to teach anyone anything. It also upset me that the minister was backing this woman. I leaned towards Harry.
"Remind me to keep a close eye on Umbridge." I said
"Why what's wrong?" Harry asked
"I'm over not having a decent DADA teacher. The only good ones we've had is Lupin and Jr. Hades even Snape would make a great DADA teacher seeing that he is a DE." I said
