AN: We're now back to the show, hope you enjoy the chapter.

"I loved the smell of the mountain juniberries in the early morning breeze." Allura says with a sigh.

"Oh yeah, I remember. You'd wake me up early so we could both smell it." Alaina reminisced with a chuckle. The two princesses were with Alfor's hologram in the memory chamber, a field of altean juniberry flowers displaying as they talked.

"As did I, my daughters. As did I." The hologram says.

"Do you remember the Somber Berry Festival? People came from all over Altea for the juniberry harvest." Allura recounted.

"Yeah. I remember spilling some berry juice on your dress, staining it, and we both started crying. I felt so bad because I knew it was your favorite. I wouldn't stop apologizing and you kept trying to say it was okay, despite you crying too." Lana says and takes two cups of tea the mice mixed, handing one to her sister, then pets Jaga in her lap, who purrs in response.

"Indeed. It took forever for Fala to calm you two." Alfor added and they all laugh.

"Allura?" Lana asked when her sister stopped laughing and looked sadden.

"I miss Altea so much. I also miss you, Father, and Mother, and Uncle Isamu. I miss it all. I wish it didn't have to be like this." The older sister admits sadly.

"I miss home too, sis." Alaina admits, touching her sister's shoulder in comfort. "It's hard, but we have to accept that we can never go back. This is our reality now. At least we still have each other." She says while leaning her head on her sister's shoulder, who strokes her hair in comfort.

"I understand how you feel my dears, but, as leaders, we have to do what's right for our people, even if it means great sacrifice." Alfor's hologram says.

"We know, Father. You always say that." Allura says back.

"Still, I wish that this had never happened, or that I'd at least copied your mothers' memories when I had the chance." He adds with sad eyes.

"It's not your fault, Father. You couldn't have known." Lana encourages. Just then, the door opens to reveal both Coran and Amue.

"There you are, Princesses." Coran says as they walk into the chamber.

"Princess Allura, what are you doing up and about? You should be resting." Amue scolds as the two alteans approach the sisters.

"Oh, Coran, Amue, can't we stay? Just for a little longer." Allura pleaded.

"I hate to say it, but they have a point." Lana says as she stands up, putting both cups back on the floating tray, then turns to help her sister up. "I want to stay too, but you're still recovering from the Balmera. You need more rest." She says.

"Get your rest, darling. I will be here when you are well." The hologram advises.

"I love you, Father. We'll see you soon." Allura says back.

"I'll take you to your room, Princess. Coran, you can take Lana down with you." Amue says and begins leading the older princess out of the chamber. Coran and Lana following behind, with the mice riding on Jaga as they follow.

While Amue took Allura up to her room to rest, Lana followed Coran down to the detainment room where they were keeping Sendak. Coran contacts the other Paladins to come down to the bay for the memory extraction they were about to perform on the Galra commander.

"Okay paladins, Sendak's almost all hooked up." Coran informs the paladins, and Blade, who was also present. "But, look, I have to warn you, this technology was developed to keep Altean memories alive, not to interrogate prisoners." He adds.
