Atlas Lucien D'Angelo, the best closer in the country, only lost once.
"Funny, yesterday you were willing to pay a million for me, I was quite offended, to be honest, I am worth way more, also that showed desperation and we both know in any other weaker firm, I'd be a senior partner by the end of the year, probably name partner in 2 years but it'd be boring and easy things aren't worth it, so take it or leave it, I'll do just fine either way." I leaned back into my chair.
Skylar Artemis D'Angelo, a 16-year-old law prodigy.
"You wanna know why I win? because I have the balls to get the things I need, done"
"If I can win why should I care about anything else?"
The love for winning is something they had in common.
Lucien knew he had a sister, after all, he was the one who let the three old go and face the cruel world alone while he rose from being an associate in one of the best firms to name partner of THE best firm.
Skylar had gone through hell and still rose a devilish-angel, a smart extremely intelligent and cold angel. His firm wants her, every firm in the world does, but she thinks easy things aren't worth it so she starts working for him, of course not letting him know who she really was but nothing can be hidden forever can it?
Secrets come out.
Blood is spilt.
Tears are needed but so are laughs after all Skylar's past in no joke, and now it is not only threatening her but him as well.

Because the past is always lingering, and her past is more than just dangerous, it's deadly.
(A/N: You don't have to remember all of this, I will mention it in the story but here you go...There are a few chapters which are like Suits, it's because of the plot and it covers a major...yeah so its not copying, IT'S A PART OF THE PLOT! thank you)
