"George!" you call out to the 6'3 redhead.

He looks up to you. You had just walked into the common room and saw George sitting on the couch.

"Hey y/n, what's up?" George motions you to sit by him.

"Nothing..." You say while looking up at him innocently.

"Mhm, sure..." He raises his eyebrow.

"Okay, well-" You begin but are soon cut off.

"That's what I thought."

"As I was saying... Do you, by any chance, fancy someone?" You ask.

"Look y/n, i'm flattered and all but-"

"Oh shut it Weasley, i'm not asking for myself." You interrupt him.

"I'm only joking. But yes, I do fancy someone. Why do you ask?"

"Who is it?" You eagerly ask.

"Can't a bestfriend ask about their bestfriends love life?" You say while dramatically leaning on his shoulder.

"...No." He says while pushing you off.

"I don't need help, thank you very much." He says.

"PLEASEEEEE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEEE" You say in a louder voice than before.

"Alright, alright fine. But you can't tell anyone." He says.

"Well obviously!" You reply, exited to hear his answer.

"I think i've been catching feelings for Angelina" George says.

"Really!! Can I set you guys up?!" You ask.

"No, she doesn't like me." George says.

"And how did you get to that conclusion Georgie?"

"I just know." He responds.

"I'm getting you guys together." You say as you jump off the couch and begin to run to your dorm.

"Y/N L/N, IF YOU SAY ANYTHING I WILL HEX YOU!" He yells, but by now you're almost to your dorm.

"Hey Angelina!" You say as you walk into your dorm.

"Hey y/n."

"I was just thinking..." You began.

"Oh no, that can't be good." Angelina says as she chuckles.

"Ha ha very funny." You say in a sarcastic tone. "Anyway, do you fancy George?" You ask.

"Y/n, you know I wanted to ask Fred out." She says.

"I know, but I think you and George would be really cute together!" You state.

"Well, he is very handsome, and funny, and tall, and-"

You cut her off, "Well it definitely sounds like you fancy him."

"I guess. Why are we talking about this anyway?" She asks.

"Oh, no reason. I was just wondering." You say as you walk out the door and back into the common room.

"Ello good sir, did you miss me?" You ask as you sit next to George again.

"Not at all." He says.
