This is a rewrite of a story I've written yet buried for five years, so please bear with me. The original one was set in Thailand, but after giving it some thought, I decided it would be best to shift the plot to a different setting for more opportunities to grow and avoid writer's block or stagnant writing.
This is a work of fiction. The characters are purely imaginary: not alive nor ever have lived in this world.
