It's been a month since you've attended Shiratorizawa. The school was very well accommodated and let's say, you've gained quite the popularity. I mean who wouldn't love the you right now? You've moved on from your toxic relationship, living a good life, made some new friends, and anything you could possibly imagine.

Well, almost anything.

I'm currently in detention for 'talking in class ' when I clearly wasn't. All I did was help my seatmate understand the math problem she couldn't get. Seriously? Can't they just ask what we were doing or talk about, not just directly give us detention without even listening to what we have to say.

'Ugh! Now I have to deal with these rowdy students. And what's worse is that I'm late to practice and our competition is up in a few months. Rin-san will kill me!' I silently thought to myself

There were a few first years in the room along with a couple third years and of course, my seatmate as well as the teacher in-charge. She kept apologizing that she dragged me into this trouble when all I did was help her. Well, I kept saying that it's fine but she really doesn't stop. 

"Wahh gomennasai Aone-san I really didn't mean to drag you into this trouble and get detention with me" she said

"I told you many times that it's really fine Amani-chan, don't apologize for something you clearly didn't do. It was my choice to help you understand the topic better. And I'll try to say this politely but can you um maybe stop apologizing? It's kind of bothering me" I said politely

"Ah I didn't mean to Aone-san, I'll stop bothering you already. But can I maybe treat you to a snack as a thank you? You know, for helping me with the lesson" Amani said with an evident blush on her face

"Ah no need for that Amani-chan~ No need to go through all that trouble just for me" I responded with a small smile

"B-but I insist A-Aone-san" she replied while rubbing her nape 

"Well... if you insist, I guess it's fine~" I said

"Are you free on Monday? If you are, then is it possible if we'll go to a nearby cafe after classes" she asked

"Oh I'm fine with that, we don't have swim practice every Monday so I'll guess that works" I replied "Oh by the way, my number is xxx-xxx-xxx save it so you can tell me the details later"

"Arigato Aone-san! Is it fine if after classes are finished, we'll head back to the dorms real quick so we can change into something more casual?" she said

"Oh it's fine Amani-chan, I was about to ask you the same thing, soooo see you on Monday then?" I said

"Hai! see you on Monday!" she replied

Detention was over in a flash, and I must say, it was annoying. A bunch of rowdy first years and third years were trying to get my attention but I was just talking with Amani. Anyways, I quickly rushed to the pool only to find myself accidentally entering the volleyball gym.
