Flashback

"Oi Kenji wait up!" you said as you tried to catch up to the boy
"You're such a slow poke Y/n" he said while sticking his tongue out
"No I'm not! You're just too fast" you said with a 'hmph' while trying to catch your breath

The boy noticed that you were struggling to catch your breath so he immediately stopped while your nose bumped onto his back

"Wahhhh it hurts" you said while sobbing
"Gomen, gomen, gomen, gomen Y/n... I didn't mean to let you bump onto me" he said while panicking and trying to calm you down

"It's fine Kenji" you said trying to convince him that you were fine and giving him a closed eyed smile but he didn't buy it because he saw your nose bleeding.

"Baka Y/n! Your nose is bleeding but you say you're fine?! Baka Y/n baka!" The boy said while trying to help you stop the bleeding

"Boke let's go back inside your house and tell your mum"
"But what if okasan will get mad kenji?" You said. You were scared because you don't want your mom to be mad at you.
"She'll just tell you to be careful next time boke! No need to overreact"
"Are you sure kenji?" You asked
"Of course I'm sure that she wouldn't scold you." he said

~Timeskip~

"Sweetie it's fine, just be careful next time okay?" your mom said with a smile

"Hai hai! Okasan!" you said

"Now go shower and change, you reek of sweat" she said while jokingly covering her nose

"Hai! Kenji-kun let's play again tomorrow?" you said excitedly

"Sure Y/n-san..." he said a bit hesitantly as he watched you climb up the stairs 

"Would you like to stay for dinner Kenji-kun?" 

"Thank you for the offer auntie but we need to finish packing our things, we're moving this midnight" he said

"I understand, but are you sure that you won't tell Y/n about this?" she asked

"It hurts too much auntie, I don't have the courage to tell her." he said feeling an immense amount of guilt rising in his chest

"I understand Kenji, have a safe trip later." she said 

"We will auntie. Goodbye and can you please tell Y/n that I'm sorry for not telling her and tell her to be happy?" he said

"I will Kenji-kun, don't worry. Now go home now, you still need to finish packing your things." she said as she motioned him to head home now

You never knew that it was your last day hanging out with Kenjiro. He never mentioned anything about moving to Miyagi. You were currently living in Hyogo because that's where your father grew up. Kenjiro happened to be in hyogo because he is living with his grandmother and you happened to be neighbours. Kenjiro was feeling guilty for not telling you beforehand and was crying on his way home.

"I promise that we'll meet again." he said while wiping his tears

sorry for the super slow update kafvmascvsjkvljav I was working on a MAJOR PROJECT AGAIN because apparently my teacher 'didn't receive'  my email and i spent three sleepless nights on that project smh I was literally on the ground crying because she was about to give me a zero on this major project anbjhacvjv so i was literally begging her so yahhh. Sorry about the short chapter though... I'll make it up to you guys :)))
