Ushijima's POV

"But I doubt that she remembers me..." Kenjiro said after telling us his past with Y/n

"Why do  you doubt that she remembers you?" I asked

"Well, that's their privacy." he stated hesitantly "And plus it's been a long time since I've last seen her so I'm really shocked that they're here." he shyly with a slight pink tint on his cheeks but with pain in his eyes

The team was shocked to discover the sight of a shy and slightly sadShirabu Kenjiro. He's usually bold and expresses is ideas to us. It was a very rare sight indeed.

"Waittttt are you telling me that you're having feelings for your childhood bestfriend?!" Tendou said in a shocked tone with wide eyes

"E-Ehh?? N-No I d-don't! How could I possibly like her Y/n is just a childhood friend!" Kenjiro screamed and stood up causing the other people in the restaurant to stare at us with a displeased look, including Y/n, her mother, and i guess her brother?

With a small smile, her mother stood up making her way towards us

"Kenji-kun is that you?" she said

"A-Auntie?! It's been a long time!"

" Indeed it has been Kenji" she said as she smiled softly

We didn't notice that somebody was following her from behind, it was Y/n.

Y/n's POV

I followed mom quietly because it seems that she knows somebody from the group of boys

'Kenji? who's that?' I thought to myself

"Okasan who's that?" I said while staring at my mom then averting my gaze towards the group then I saw a familiar looking man, Ushijima. He was the one who comforted me while crying about my trash ex-boyfriend.

"Oh hey Ushijima." I waved while giving him a close-eyed smile

Without noticing it, the team blushed as she gave a smile

"Hey Y/n nice to see you again." He said

"Nice to see you again too" I responded

"You know each other?" mom said

"Mhm, he's the one I told you about. You know, the one who comforted me~" I said while smiling at them

"Oh it's him?" she asked while I nodded in response

"Very well, thank you for comforting my daughter that day and I'm very sorry for the trouble." mom said. Mom always has a soft spot for guys who make me comfortable and happy

"Oh it was no trouble at all ma'am" He said while bowing his head slightly

"Okasan who's he?" you said while looking at the Kenji guy

"Um... he's the son of one of my old colleagues" Your mom said while the others stared in confusion

"Oh ok he's kind of familiar looking" you said as you tilted your head with a pout
