Hyejin beamed.

"Is Jisoo-ssi treating you alright?"

"Hm?" Hyejin glanced over at Jisoo, who was busy setting up the camera, and nodded. "Yup, Jisoo sunbae-nim has been... really nice to me."

"I know that Jisoo-ssi had some ill-feelings for you when you first joined the company..." Namjoon said quietly. "That's why I sent her with you today. I'm glad that she's starting to see the light. You know why treated you unkindly at the beginning, do you?"

"Mm..." Hyejin thought for a while. "Perhaps... she didn't like my straightforward personality? I've had many people dislike me for that reason before."

"What? Really?" Namjoon exclaimed. "That's one of your qualities that I admire the most though."

"Oh... really?" Hyejin pursed her lips, smiling a little as she glanced at the floor. "Well, thank you."

"But the reason why she treated you that way is... jealousy," Namjoon explained. "Imagine working for two whole years and going nowhere, meanwhile you joined the company for a short while and you were already catching everyone's attention for the littlest things you did - because you're really that good at your job. And now... she's finally starting to accept the fact that you're really, really good. And she's starting to learn from you too, though she's your sunbae-nim. Because... you're really good."

Hyejin smiled. "Am I now?"

"You're asking me because you don't know or...?"

"No, I know-" Hyejin laughed. "But... it's just nice to hear it from my boss, you know what I mean?"

"Now tell me, which other boss would call halfway through your interview just to give you morale support?" Namjoon joked. "Tell me I'm the best boss you've ever had."

"Well, firstly, you're my first and only boss and secondly-" Hyejin giggled. "Are we gonna casually ignore the fact that you were fighting for your life not to get on the phone and talk to me?"

Namjoon paused briefly. "Well... to be fair, I just didn't want to distract you, that's all."

"Oh, is that so?" Hyejin let out a sarcastic chuckle. "Well, I guess I have to thank you then, bujang-nim."

"Do well, Hyejin-ssi," Namjoon said, letting out a small laugh as well. "Just like you always have."

Hyejin beamed. "That's a given."

"Cut!" Yoongi yelled. "All the scenes at this location have been filmed! Everyone pack up, we're moving to the bus to our next location! Actors and actresses, get your makeup touched up quickly - you guys have an interview with KNJ News! Hurry up, please!"

Jennie bowed a few times towards her costars, before glancing in Yoongi's direction. Their eyes met and Jennie's face lit up at once, as she waved frantically at Yoongi. The corners of Yoongi's lips curled upwards a little as he lifted a hand and waved back at her slowly.

"Sungjae-oppa, you came!"

Yoongi frowned as he glanced behind him, and spotted a guy standing, a bouquet of flowers in arm, waving right at Jennie. Yoongi quickly, and very embarrassedly, put down his hand at once, as the familiar-looking man Jennie addressed as 'Sungjae-oppa' ran towards her. Then Yoongi recognised him all of a sudden - he was the other actor Jennie had in mind for her costar.
