[36] Life Changing

"I don't know." Stiles said looking at the photos. "But look! This ones good!" He said pointing to the last photo of them staring into each other's eyes.

Madi smiled and looked at her photos. "Yeah, that's a really good photo. And, the purple eyes aren't that bad. They're kinda cool."

Stiles smiled back at her. Suddenly a they heard screams coming from the rink.

"Lydia," Madi's heart dropped. She shoved her photos into her pocket as she ran onto the ice, not caring she was only wearing socks.

She rushed to the screaming red head, grabbing her. "Lydia! Lydia! What wrong?" Madi said to the girl who was in a trance a the rest of the group ran to them. Madi looked at the three desperately as Lydia kept screaming.

Maxi walked went to walk into the cafeteria the next day but Stiles and Scott grabbed her and made her turn the other way.

"What are we doing?" Madi asked.

"We think Boyd is Dereks third beta." Scott said as they walked. "We're gonna go to the ice rink and see if he's there. And Stiles if he's not at home call one of us." Scott said.

"Wait why am I going with you and not Stiles?" Madi asked.

The boy's looked at each, "We kinda need you to be a barricade." Scott said.

"What?" Madi asked.

"Well Issac definitely won't hurt you and he won't let Erica hurt you. And we hope Derek won't hurt you." Stiles explained.

"Great. Gonna be the barricade between werewolves." Madi muttered. "That's gonna work out well."

"Maybe we should let him." Stiles said suddenly. "Boyd you know man? You said Dereks giving them a choice right?"

"We can't." Scott said grabbing Stiles.

"You gotta admit, Erica looks pretty good, the word sensational comes to mind." Stiles said making Madi stomach churn.

"How do you think she's gonna look with a wolfsbane bullet in her head?" Scott asked.

"All right, all I'm saying is maybe this one isn't totally your responsibility." Stiles said.

"They all are. And you know this things gonna get out of control. That makes me responsible." 

"All right, I'm with you. And also gotta say this newfound heroism is making me very attracted to you." Stiles said to Scott making Madi look at him weirdly.

"Shut up." Scott said.

"No seriously." Stiles said stopping Scott. "Do you want just try making out for a sec?" He asked making Scott walk away from him. "Just to see how it feels!" Stiles watched Scott walk away before looking at Madi.

"Don't even think about it." Madi said pushing Stiles forward to catch up to Scott.

"Boyd!" Scott called out as Madi walked next to him. "We just wanna talk."

Boyd continued to drive the ice resurfacer, not stopping for them. "Boyd please, did Derek tell you everything?" Madi asked.
