They laid inside, taunting him, scraping at his walls wanting to be exposed.
But he couldn't let them, couldn't exhibit them, not to her, he couldn't.
She was too precious, a diamond in his sky, a treasure in his heart and if she ever saw the demons he had hidden inside that angel would surely fly.
