He became tired of the darkness that flourished around him, so he lit a couple candles and watched as they burnt with a dull heap of flames.

He thought the illumination would at least get rid of his unredeemed contrition, thought it would help him forget...

But sadly, the dull light of his narrow candles only revealed to him how much he missed his sun.
