Chapter Twelve: It was like I was in a different world when I was with him.
Today Brady and I were going on a date. To be quite honest, I was really nervous. Brady didn't tell me if I should dress casually or dressy. I kept asking him, but all he said was wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in. I decided a dress sense they could both be casual and dressy. I straightened my hair, and touched it all off with converse. I looked adorable.
I walked out of my room and saw Brady standing there in a casual shirt and jeans. Even though it was casual, he still looked handsome. Brady usually wore football jerseys and shorts, sometimes the occasional soccer jersey and even basketball. But he never wore sweatpants- ever.
Not even in the winter. Last year he wore shorts every day, and so did all the other boys in the grade. I mean how do boys only wear shorts?! It's below zero degrees here in New York sometime and they still show up with short sleeves and shorts. How?
Brady walked up to me and slowly checked me out. I blushed. Brady chuckled as my cheeks burned, "You look beautiful." He said. I blushed and nudged his shoulder, "You don't look too bad yourself." I said. Brady laughed and grabbed my hand. Evan yelled behind us, "Have fun you two!" He said. Brady and I laughed and rolled our eyes as we walked into the car.
Brady smiled and handed me a handkerchief. I grabbed it and raised an eyebrow, "What's this for?" I asked. Brady smiled and wrapped it around my head, "The date is a surprise so I can't have you peeking." He said. He tied the handkerchief around my head. I laughed, "Alright..." Brady chuckled, "Don't worry buttercup." He said. I rolled my eyes.
What did this psycho have for me?
Brady really didn't want me to see where he was taking me. He wrapped the handkerchief around me and wrapped another one, and then asked me to put my hands to my eyes.
It took us around ten minutes to get to where ever we were going. But when we stopped Brady still made sure I was kept blindfolded. He opened up my car door, and held out his hand. I felt his hand and grasped it. He grabbed it back and helped me out. He led me through a hallway, I suppose. We didn't walk into any buildings or facilities I didn't think. Brady stopped me and said, "I'm going to take off your blindfolds now." I nodded and felt Brady's fingers try to untie the blindfolds.
Brady finally got the blindfolds off. When I watched the blindfolds fall to the floor, I looked up and saw that we were at a pond. The sun was setting, and there was a table for two placed right in the perfect view of the sunset. I looked up at Brady and kissed him, "Oh my god Brady thank you so much!" Brady smiled and grabbed my hand. He led me to the table and moved the seat like a gentlemen. I smiled and thanked him. Brady sat across from me.
The whole time Brady and I would crack jokes about everything and anything. When we were done eating, the sun was about to set so Brady got up and led me to the pond. Brady lay down and I followed him. He smiled, "When I was younger, I used to come here with my father and watch the sun set every day." I smiled, "Do you still?" I asked, immediately regretting me asking. Brady frowned, "My dad got Alzheimer's when I turned fourteen, and the only thing he remembered from me was that." He said. I frowned and grabbed his hand, "I love you Brady, and so does your dad, okay?" I said. Brady nodded, "I know you and him do. I love you too." He said. I got up and went on top of him and kissed him on the lips.
After the kiss, Brady sat up and smiled, "I have something for you." I looked at Brady, "You didn't have to get me anything." I said. Brady raised an eyebrow, "I'm the boy. Of course I have to get you something." He said, smiling. I laughed, "Not true." I said. Brady dug out something from his pocket. I looked at it, and it looked like a bracelet box. I smiled, "Oh what's this?" I asked. Brady handed me the gift, and when I opened it my heart stopped.
Brady got me the necklace he ruined.
I felt tears fall from my face as I grasped the angel. It looked even better than the first time I got it. I smiled, "I love you so much Brady, thank you." Brady smiled and I had to say it was the cutest smile I've ever seen. Brady wiped away a tear that fell from my face. He took the necklace and brushed my hair out of the way. He wrapped the necklace around my neck, the coldness of the necklace making me shiver. I turned around and smiled at Brady, "Thank you." Brady smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist. My arms went around his neck. Brady leaned in and brought me in for a passionate kiss.
At first this kiss was soft, and then it went to completely insane. My mouth didn't want to stop kissing him. It was like I was in a different world when I was with him.
I loved him so much.

When Brady and I got home, Evan was sprawled out on the couch watching The Vow. Brady and I started dying of laughter when we saw the scattered tissues on the floor.
Evan was watching a chick flick and was crying!
Evan jumped from the couch and turned off the T.V. immediately. Brady and I rolled on the floor dying of laughter. Evan put his hands on his hips, "Shut up!" He yelled. I laughed, "Evan, why were you watching the vow?" I asked, giggling. Brady grabbed my hand, "Yea, seriously." He said. Evan rolled his eyes, "Megan was here." He said. Megan was his new girlfriend. I laughed, "Were those her tissues or yours?" I asked, making Brady laugh. Evan chuckled too, "Mine and hers..." He said. "But mainly hers!" He said. Brady and I laughed together while Evan stood there, angrily.
I'm in love with Brady and Evan's characters.
I hope you all are too!
