Islands (Kyuwook Fic)

Chapter 9

        When Kyuhyun woke up he found a smiling Ryeowook in his arms and he smiled back, "Good morning Wookie." 

        "Good morning Kyukyu." Ryeowook said sheepishly. 

        "How did you sleep last night?" 

        "Good." Ryeowook giggled. 

        "Aww Wookie, you're so cute." Kyuhyun rarely said something like this. Like, once every 10 or so years. He put his face close to Ryeowook kissed him gently. Ryeowook put his arms around Kyuhyun's neck and kissed him back. 

        They were interrupted by a loud knocking at the door, "GET UP!" Heechul roared, "NOW! WOOKIE COME COOK HYUNG SOMETHING, HYUNG IS STARVING! HYUNG NEEDS FOOD BEFORE A PERFORMANCE YOU KNOW!" 

        Ryeowook pulled away from Kyuhyun and sighed before calling back, "Yes hyung." he was about to get up when he realized that he was completely naked, he slid back under the covers.

        "What?" Kyuhyun grinned evilly, "Embarassed? You weren't last night."

        Ryeowook turned even redder and disappeared even deeper into the blanket, "Why are you embarassed?" Kyuhyun chided and picked up a squealing Ryeowook. He carried the elder to his closet, "There, what do you want to wear?" 

        "These are your clothes." Ryeowook said, his face still looking a bit like a tomato, "They're too big." 

        "HYUNG! LEETEUK HYUNG!" Kyuhyun screeched, "GET RYEOWOOK SOME CLOTHES FROM HIS ROOM!" 

        "Who am I to do what the maknae says." Leeteuk muttered, but he went to get Ryeowook's clothes anyway, he opened the door a bit and threw the clothes in so he wouldn't see anything. 

        Kyuhyun bent down and used one hand to pick up the clothes, the other hand still holding Ryeowook. He carried him into the bathroom and set him and his clothes down, "Get dressed quickly." He gave the other's nose a small kiss before walking out of the bathroom.

        Ryeowook couldn't help but giggle for what felt like the hundredth time this morning, "Open your mouth wider, Kyukyu." he scolded lovingly, "Yea, like that." and he put the spoon in Kyuhyun's mouth. 

        Heechul groaned, "If I knew this would happen I would never have let you two date." 

        "It's not your decision." Kyuhyun stuck out his tongue, causing Ryeowook to scold him again, "Kyuhyunnie, if you keep sticking your tongue out the food will come out of your mouth and all over your clothes and the floor and then we'd have to clean it all up." 

        "If he spits out he's cleaning it up, I'm not helping." Donghae said, walking into the kitchen, "He always leaves me to clean up my own messes too." 

        "What do you mean you always clean up your own mess," Eunhyuk grumbled, "I always clean everything up for you." 

        "Thats because you're a neat freak" Donghae explained. 

        "And I am sick of all of you idiotic couples." Heechul slammed his fist down in the table before getting up and leaving. 

        "Do you think I should go after him?" Ryeowook said worriedly. 

        "Don't worry Wook, he's just angry because Hankyung hyung isn't here, I'll go to him later." Donghae assured Ryeowook.        

        "I wish Hankyung hyung and Kibummie would come back." Ryeowook said sadly. 

        ***

        "Okay, first of all, you aren't allowed to criticize any of your haters." Leeteuk instructed Kyuhyun and Ryeowook, "That would make people even angrier." 

        "Why are we doing this?" Kyuhyun puffed. 

        "BECAUSE. Okay, second, is that-" 

        "Seriously I have better things to do-" 

        "SHUT UP. SIT DOWN. AND LISTEN TO THE MAN TALK." Kangin roared, losing his temper, "RESPECT MAKNAE RESPECT." 

        Kyuhyun sat back down nervously, even Leeteuk looked a bit scared, even though Kangin was backing him up.

        "Second." Leeteuk continued, "Is that you will act completely normal in public, like you aren't dating." 

        "But Sungmin and I didn't have to do that!" Kyuhyun spluttered, "Please..." he saw the look on Kangin's face, "Hyung..." 

        "Fine." Leeteuk said, giving in, "But you have to try and, you know, keep it cool if anyone asks you about Sungmin." 

        "Okay, hyung, whatever, now can I go?" 

        Leeteuk sighed, "Yes Kyuhyun you can." 

        ***

        Kyuhyun felt a bit nervous as he stepped up onto the stage with the other members for the first time since people had found out about him and Ryeowook. There were screams, but there were also a lot of people who stared at him like he had betrayed them. 

        Ryeowook cleared his throat nervously and started singing, but the moment he opened his mouth the angry chants started, "KYUMIN. KYUMIN. KYUMIN. KYUMIN." Ryeowook continued singing, tears stinging his eyes, but you couldn't even hear him above the chants, "KYUMIN. KYUMIN." 

        At that Ryeowook stopped singing and rushed off the stage crying. Seeing that Kyuhyun ran after him, the chants getting less loud the further he got away from the stage, but he could still hear the echoes in his head, "KYUMIN. KYUMIN." And then he thought about what Ryeowook had once again overlooked, though the Kyumin chants were loud, he had heard a bit of something else too- "Kyuwook~Kyuwook~Kyuwook~" 

        "Ryeowook, Wookie, where are you? Wookie!" He found Ryeowook sitting in front of his mirror in his dressing room, crying his eyes out. 

        He put his arms around Ryeowook and held him tight against his chest, "I can't do this." Ryeowook sobbed, wetting Kyuhyun's shirt, "I can't..." 

        "Yes you can." Kyuhyun told him, "Wookie, you could barely hear it, but if you listened carefully, there were also people chanting Kyuwook." 

        "But so many people hate me now." He sobbed, "Most of the people want Kyumin."         

        "Yea? I think that's changing." Kyuhyun smiled, "Listen Ryeowook." They both listened carefully. And now, even this far away from the stage and the audience, they could hear the Kyumin chants fading, replaced with a much louder chant, "KYUWOOK. WE WANT KYUWOOK." 

        "Ready now?" Kyuhyun asked, knowing the answer. 

        Ryeowook wiped his tears with his sleeve, "Yes." he said more confidently, "Yes I'm ready." 

        "Thats my boyfriend." Kyuhyun gave the top of Ryeowook's head a kiss, "Lets go give them their Kyuwook." 

           The moment they got on stage together the screams got even louder, Ryeowook smiled again and started singing. This time, no one interrupted him, and the rest of the performance went smoothly. Kyuhyun even kissed Ryeowook for all the ELF there, making them go crazy. 

        After the performance, Sungmin rushed up to Kyuhyun and Ryeowook, "I'm so sorry," he gushed, "I-" 

        "Hyung it wasn't your fault," Ryeowook said, hugging his best friend, "And I'm okay, in the end, I got so much support." 

        "Yea," Kyuhyun chuckled, "And our supporters-they all got their Kyuwook in the end."

        A/N 

        I'm sorry for making Kangin and Heechul so mean all the time xD But Kangin does fight the most and Heechul is always angry so yea lol. The next chapter will be 3 years later so we'll be skipping a lot in their relationship, but i bet you can all guess why I'm skipping three years. i'm pretty impatient to get to sth hehe :3
