Next morning

"Hey-", Yeona was about to greet Daniel but when she saw his backpack, she completely lost it.

"H-hello K-kitty?", she asked chocking on her own laughter.

The boy in front of her was already as red as a tomato.

"S-stop it"

After a while Yeona's laughter died down a bit.

"It's been a while since I've laughed this much. Thank you"

Daniel was still very embarrassed but hearing that made him feel good about it. He was glad that he made her laugh again.

"It belonged to my sister", he stated.

Yeona nodded her head in realization.

"Anyways, how is your ankle doing?", Daniel asked her a bit concerned.

"Oh, my ankle doesn't hurt at all", Yeona lied because she didn't want to seem weak.

Her biggest weakness is people finding out that she's not as tough as she always pretends to be.

Daniel eyed her suspiciously knowing that she was lying.

"Come on, get on my back!", he offered her.

"No seriously, I'm totally fine. Don't worry", she denied.

But that didn't help much because before she even knew it, Daniel already picked her up.

"Yah, Kim Daniel, let me down!", Yeona yelled out but the boy just giggled at her.

"Stop being so cute", the boy said knowing that it will shut her up.

And it was indeed enough for Yeona to stop screaming around.

'Me?cute?'

There she felt it again.

The heat rising up in her body, especially her face.

How could this boy always make her so flustered?

Yeona slowly sank into his neck smelling the sweet scent of his cologne.

It was calming her down.

It made her forget about everything around her.

She felt the warmth surrounding her.

It made her feel cared about.

And mostly loved.

They just walked in silence enjoying each other's presence.

It felt like everyone disappeared and it was only the two of them.

"Can you let me down now?", Yeona said as they almost reached the school.

"I don't want others to get the wrong idea", she added.

Daniel seemed kind of sad.

'Does she see me as just a friend?'

However, Daniel let her down since he respects her decision.

In class

"I assume that you all have seen a lot of progress in your chicken's growth, so I would ask you to submit me an assignment about it next week", Ms. Choi said.

'Shoot'

Yeona looked over to Sunoo, her biology partner and he looked very normal.

Yeona was internally freaking out.
