Chapter 17: All kind of pain

"What else could I have done? Did you want me to tell her the truth?"

"Of course not. But there's a better way of explaining things. You know how sensitive she is. You know how sensitive her sanity is right now. And still you went all primal on her. She must be so upset."

"Look I know I fucked up. I'll apologize after dinner."

"You better. But for now Elsa can you get Kat for dinner?"

"I'll go." Seb said.

"No. Give her some space."

"Sure Mr.Wright." Elsa said and left to get her.

She came back after few minutes.

"Sir. She said she doesn't feel well and wants to skip dinner."

"She's just upset. I'll go and bring her." Leo said for the first time.

After 10 minutes Leo came back running.

"She threw up and she's burning. Call Anna."
He said and we all tensed.

"Hades call Anna. I'll go to her." I said wanting nothing more than seeing my sister.

Katherine Wright

I woke up with a very bad headache due to all the crying. My face would be swollen. I slowly stood up from my bed and went to the bathroom. I felt a sudden pain in the middle of my stomach but I ignored it. I saw the mirror but saw that my face was pale. I felt a little feverish too. I went back and opened the door lock and lied back down on the bed. Then I heard a knock and a voice.

"Miss Katherine."

"Elsa. Come in." She obliged.

"Your brothers are expecting you for dinner miss Katherine." Elsa was really cute but she was sooo formal.

"Um..elsa I'm not feeling that great. I'm just gonna skip it."

"Ok miss. I'll inform your brothers." With that she left. As a minute or 2 passed I felt like I wanted to throw up. So I went in the bathroom and sat near the toilet seat. It was strange. I hadn't thrown up since I came here. And I'm much better at keeping food down now. As I was lost in thoughts another wave of nausea hit me and I emptied the contents of my food in the toilet. I felt someone calling my name I dont know who. I felt someone holding my hair back as I puked for the second time. Once the person was sure that I had stopped who stood up and came back with water. It was Leo. I groaned.

"Sorry you had to see that." I said in a very groggy voice after washing my mouth.

"Dont be sorry. Are you okay? Why did you throw up?"

"I dont know." I said knitting my eyebrows.

"Has it happened before today?"

"No. It's the first time since I came here."

"Let's get you to bed." He held my shoulders from behind and led me to the bed.

"Take rest okay." He said and placed a hand on my check. His already worried expression turned into a more worrisome.

"Kat you're burning up." He then placed his hand on my forehead.

"Shit. Its really hot. You lie down okay. I'll get the others." He pulled the comforter over my body and headed out. Suddenly a sharp pain shot up in my stomach. I curled up on my bed trying to hold in my screams.

Suddenly all of my brothers were in my room. Alex sat beside me. I was still mad at him but considering the pain I wanted to latch onto any comfort I could get.

"What happened baby?" He asked in a very sweet voice. Yeah the same voice that went primal on me hours ago. He started caressing my hair trying to comfort me. I had tears in my eyes. The pain was becoming unbearable by every passing second.

"Did she caught a stomach flu?" Nate asked.

"She hasn't had anything out of the ordinary. Let's not jump to conclusions. Anna is on her way." A little relief spread through me on the mention of Dr.Anna but I didn't wanted another IV.

"Alex I dont want an IV." I was a sob mess.

"Relax sweetheart. Let's see what she has to say. Okay. Stay calm."

After 15 minutes of me crying in pain and my brothers trying to calm me down Dr.Anna finally came with Hayden. She had an angry expression which immediately softened once she saw me.

"Hey sweetie. Let's see what's wrong okay."
She started checking me.

"Okay. You have 102° fever. Did you throw up?"

"Yes."

"You having stomach pain?" She asked and I nodded. She lifted my shirt and pressed my stomach. As soon as she pressed the spot of my pain. I yelped in pain.

"Hey easy!" Hayden shouted.

"Dont teach me my job." She shot back.

And then what she said made me cry even more.

"Its appendicitis. She'll need surgery."
God no.

Hello readers. Alex was a big meany today. But he loves Kat. Kat's gonna totally create a scene. Next chapter will be fun.
