Chapter 21

"Don't tell me you have a daughter, Heixon Marcus Benjamin?" Mapanganib na tanong niya sa binata. Binalingan niya ito ng tingin.

To her irritation he just smirked at her.

"Heixon!" She lightly hissed. She was dying to know the answer. Inatake na siya ng kaba.

What if, Heixon really has a daughter? Can she accept it?

"Hmm, if I say yes, would you still accept me? Would you acknowledged her as your daughter?" Mapanghamon na tanong nito sa kanya.

"Heixon, don't kid around." Banta niya rito.

"Answer my question first." Giit nito. Hindi niya napigilan na irapan ang binata, binaling na lamang niya ang atensyon sa bata na humagikhik na ngayon na nilalaro ng bunso ni Tita Caria.

"She's adorable." She can't help but to compliment. The kid looks like an angel, lalo na't naka-bestidang puti ito.

"And?" Tanong ng binata, naghihintay ng karugtong.

"I think it's fine. I can't resist her cuteness." Dugtong niya.

He smirked. Nagulat siya ng hinila siya ng binata papunta sa direksyon ng bata.

At huli na para magprotesta siya. Nasa harap na siya nito.

"Henjel baby..." Masuyung tawag nito sa bata.

Ng lumingon ang bata sa asawa niya ay lumaki ang pagkakangiti nito.

"Kuya X!" The little girl screamed and run to Heixon's direction.

Kuya?

"My princess!" Heixon carried the girl and spin her around. The girl giggled.

"Kuya, I miss you so much!"

Naguguluhan na tinapunan niya ng tingin ang binata. Sakto namang lumingon ito sa kanya.

"Kuya?" She asked confused.

"Yes. It's my little sister. My mom had her the time she left Dad. Tinago niya kay Dad si Henjel Denis Benjamin." Paliwanag ng binata.

She glared at him. "So, you lied to me?"

"That was just a test---"

"Oh no, Kuya X. You made her mad. Kiss her!" Biglang sulpot ng bata. Her voice is so angelic and cute.

"I should kiss her?" Paninigurado ng binata sa kapatid nito.

"Yes! A goddess should not be angry. Or else she would punish you." Pananakot ni Henjel kay Heixon. Maybe she got that idea in the fairytales where a forest goddess would punish a man of she would destroy any of the goddess' property that makes her mad

"Okay." Heixon agreed. Nasa mukha ng binata na pabor ito sa gusto ng kapatid.

Pinandilatan niya ito ng mata para pigilan but she just smirked at her.

Their lips were almost touching when they heared a fake cough.

"I won't let you destroy the innocent eyes of my daughter." Mr. Chance Benjamin suddenly entered with amusement voice.

"Daddy!" Henjel screamed in delight when she saw her father.

"Baby, come with me. Just let the lovey-dovey be alone." There's a teasing tone on his voice, hindi niya napigilang pamulahan.

"Son, I'll be at the corner. Enjoy your night with your wife." Bilin ng ama. Sumaludo naman ang asawa niya at siya naman ay ngumiti rito. A part of her is happy that the old Chance Benjamin is back. He just become cold when his wife left him.

Ng bumaling ang atensyon niya sa binata ay nakangisi ito.

"What?" Malditang tanong niya rito.

"My kiss." Bahagya pang ngumuso ang binata. He's acting like a kid!

Inirapan niya ito. "Mahiya ka nga. Ang daming tao."

"So, mamaya sa bahay pwede?"

"Really, Benjamin? Tinatanong pa ba 'yan?" She smirked at him. Alam na dapat nito na hindi niya matanggihan ang binata. She's addicted to him as much as him to her.

Pumihit siya patagilid para pumunta sa direksyon sa buffet ng may nakabunggo siya.

"Ouch!" She exclaimed in hurt and shock.

Napa-atras rin ang babae. Akmang sisinghalan niya ito ng makita niyang pamilyar ito.

"Do I know you?" Tanong niya. She's familiar but she can't name her because they don't have memory together.

The woman smiled, it wasn't genuine tho, but it wasn't close to fake. It is just something between them.

"You don't know me, dear. But I know you." Makahulugang sagot nito sa kanya.

Kumunot ang noo niya. Anong ibig nitong sabihin? Hindi niya ito kilala pero kilala siya nito? Hindi naman siya nagkaroon ng amnesia or maybe she doesn't know her because since when did she care about her surroundings? She's the spoiled self-centered brat. Before. Because right now, hindi na siya sigurado kung siya lang ba ang naroon sa mundo niya, dahil pakiramdam niya unti-unti ng pumasok ang binata sa mundo niya.

Binalingan niya ang binata. To find out that he was staring blankly at the woman infront of them.

"Heixon, it's nice to meet you again." Anito na may tinatahong mensahe. Naramdaman niyang humugpit ang pagkapit ng binata sa kanyang bewang na hindi niya namalayan na naroon pala.

"Ckim." Pagkakilala ng binata. Binigyan niya ito ng naguguluhang tingin. He just kissed her forehead in return.

"Oh, wow. You two end up together, huh? I think it's a lovely story especially when I'm gonna hear it from you, Heixon." Ani pa nito.

How she wants to ruin that smile on the stranger's face. Hindi niya napigilang mapaikot ang mata.

"Wife-baby, let's go." Aya ng binata.

Hindi na siya tumanggi dahil gusto na rin niya ang  mapalayo sa babae. She doesn't like her presence at all.

Tumalikod na sila ng binata.

Pero iilan lang ang hakbang nila ng magsalita ang babae.

"Heixon, can't wait to catch up things with you soon." Pahabol pa nitong sabi.

She rolled her eyes. Her voice were like something bitchy, like it was hiding something that irritates the hell out of her. The curiosity is slowly eating here. Sino ba talaga iyon?

"Wife- baby." Heixon called her.

Lumingon siya sa binata na masama ang tingin.

"Who is she? Is she one of your exes? Do you want to get back together with her, huh?" Pinandilatan niya ito ng mata habang binubugahan ito ng maaanghang na salita.

His face went gentle. "Wife-baby, I don't have an ex---"

"So, fuck buddy?" Her voice can't hide the sarcasm.

Napapikit ang binata at napatampal ng noo. He's chuckling lowly. "Jesus Christ!" He muttered in low voice.

"Ano?"

He sighed and composed himself before staring at her intently.

"She's Ckim Ferera. She has been there during our highschool and college."

Oh, so she's with us? Because she and Heixon went on the same university. That's why she's familiar. Maybe she's not friend of any of the Benjamin because Heixon didn't mention that.

"Who is she to you?" Matapang na tanong niya sa binata.

"She's nothing, wife-baby." He answered directly without blinking. And with that she calm down.

"Okay, I trust you."
