the girl greeted the staff that's already waiting there with a light voice

"y/n right? please get comfortable, we'll start the recording in a few more minutes"

the girl only nodded her head as she sit down on a chair provided. personally she doesn't even know why she's here. she was just called in as a lucky wiz*one to answer some iz*one quiz. now that she think about it again.. it does look suspicious

"should i run away?" she whispered to herself

unknown to her, there's 12 other girls that's laughing while hearing to her through the microphone, watching her every move from another room

"she's cute"

"i can't wait to meet her"

the small chat quickly died when they saw a staff member coming to the girl's direction

"y/n ssi, how long have you stanned iz*one?"

"since i watched produce48 when it was first aired"

everyone could see that the girl was nervous, but she's done a great job while answering to the questions

"who's your bias?" everyone went quiet on that question. there's no lie that every 12 of them was hoping that the girl would name themselves as her favorite but-

"i like them all equally"

"it's okay kids.. she likes us all equally"

"yeah it's better than naming one of us though"

"so.. i'm going to play three recordings, try to guess which one is iz*one doing their greetings"

y/n puffed her cheeks as she takes a deep breath, "you can do this!" she whispered to give herself a motivation

iz*one grabbed their mics and get ready for signals that allows them to do their greetings as a group

"eyes on me! hello, we are iz*one!"

y/n quickly smiled when she heard the greeting

the girls pinched the girl on the farthest left as they give her a microphone, signalling her to do the greeting alone

"eyes on me! hello, we are iz*one!"

"eh? isn't that hyewon?"

hyewon herself was shocked when she heard that the girl knew it was her

"right, this is the third recording. listen carefully"

minju quickly grabbed the microphone from hyewon's hands, "eyes on me! hello, we are iz*one!"

"this.. is minju?"

"so which one of the three is iz*one?"

"definitely the first one is when they are introducing with all twelve of them"

iz*one quickly left the room and waited outside of the room when y/n and the staff are in currently. they could hear how the staff trying to convince the girl to change her answer but the girl is confident with her answer

yena opened the door quietly and thank goodness the girl was too occupied by the staff's question

they all then creeped inside the room and went closer to where to the currently sitting girl, "eyes on me! hello, we are iz*one! nice to mee you"

y/n whipped her head to her right to see 12 girls standing beside her.

iz*one?!

out of reflex, the girl stands up and quickly bowed down. she covered her mouth, not believing what she's seeing with her own eyes after she stands up straight
