Zaria POV
It's Friday night and I'm on my way to see Chef Alex at his restaurant. I look cute and I hope Alex thinks so too.
I arrive at the restaurant and I'm seated by some mirrors but not in a spot where I can't see the staff coming and going.
I order water and a steak platter then low key glance at the door and my phone.
15 minutes later the food comes and I ask my server if the owner is here
"Not tonight, do you have a problem with your food? I can get the manager?
"Oh no. It's looks good, thanks.
I pout and eat my food.
After I finish eating and paid the bill, I'm back on the streets. I decided I will get a drink or two at the snake bar.
As per usual, the snake bar is crowded but I manage to find a seat next to some light skin tall guy with a nose ring. He has two women with him and they are flirting with him hard.
"You should come to the bathroom with me, I will suck your dick. *Slut
"Damn. You don't even know my name and you trying to suck my dick. The thirst is real. *unknown man
"So what, your black and sexy. I wanna see what that BBC do. *Slut
My jaw slightly drops
"No, thanks. Even under this lights I can see your herpes pimple on your lip. *Unknown man

The women and her friend rush away. Then light skin guy looks at me and smiles
"Can I sit next to you gorgeous?
"Why?
"So you protect me from the vultures. As you can tell they are wild tonight.
"Yea but you are probably used to.
He sits down next to me
"Yea I am but it's still funny and sad. Some women came over to me and gave me her credit card telling me" you can ruin my credit, I don't care". I'm like "Ma'm this is a Wendy's and I'm not a bum".
"Your funny. My name is Zaria
I extend my hand so he can shake it
"I'm Alex.
Another Alex, wow
We get go chatting about random things: we both like all kinds of music, he is artistic, the snacks we like and how we both don't like mumble rappers.
" I guess I don't get Future appeal cause I'm not toxic. *Alex
"Basically. Haha. *Zaria
We laugh till we get a visitor
"Hey Zaria, you move on from my boy that quick.
"Hi Chef Alex, your boy has a girlfriend and kids he didn't mentioned so yes. Now go away.
"Damn. I'm surprised I'm not wanted here since you was at my restaurant looking for me.
My jaw slightly drops
And artist guy Alex decides to speak up
"Do you wanna go take a walk?
"Sure, I would love to.
We get up and I bumped pass Chef Alex. We leave the bar and start walking.
"I'm sorry about him.
"It's okay, he clearly likes you.
"What? He came over to bother me about his friend.
"Even though you dated his friend, he likes you and apparently you like him.
"I like his food and that's why I was at his restaurant. Also I wanted to get my meal free so that's why I was looking for him. I barely know that man.
"Okay. So you know me a little, do I have a shot?
"Hmm, yes.
He started dancing
"Oh shit, he got moves.
"Come on dance with me.
"Play some music.
He gets his phone and Luke James, I want you
starts playing
"You definitely have good taste in music.
"I know, may I have this dance?
"Uh sure. I have never slowed dance before so I will be stepping on your toes.
He pulls me close
"Just relax and let me lead
"Okay.
We sway and cause he is tall I'm by his chest. He smells nice and fresh. Cologne with a hint of detergent.
At the ending of the song he looks down at me and kisses my lips.
What a way to end the night.
*Next Day
Alex and I kissed then exchange numbers. Anyway it's Saturday now which means I'm out shopping with friends: Nia and Sade.
As we go into the H&M Nia bumps into a guy
"I'm sorry.
"It's okay beautiful but can I get a name of the woman that just blessed me with her presence.
"I'm Nia and you
"Alex but you can call me Rico.
My eyebrows rise
Another Alex
I continue to look at clothes while they talk. And Sade is talking to another man that's by the men section. But he leaves and she comes over to me.
"why are you fake looking at clothes? None of this shit is in your size . *Sade
"Cause I didn't know what to do while y'all was getting your Mack on.
"I'm back. Let's go to forever 21. *Nia
"So you gave that model dude your number? *Sade
"Yes, an he is actual a model. What about you? I need you chatting with some guy. He looked fine.*Nia
"That's Alex, my mom friend son that she has been wanting to hook me up with. *Sade
"That's funny, cause model guy name is Alex but he goes my Rico cause his middle name. *Nia
"We are encountering a lot of Alex's. *Zaria
"For real, like you started a chain reaction. *Nia
"So let's label them: Chef Alex, Rico, Ace, lawyer bae and goofy bae. Boom, problem solved. *Sade
"True. *Nia and Zaria
All these Alex's which probably means one of them is my soulmate but who.
