Chapter 9

Zaria POV

I wake up with a nasty taste in my mouth and an upset stomach. I get up from the bed and run to the bathroom. After throwing up, I brush my teeth and throwback some mouthwash. Now it's time to see where I am and why. I walk back into the room and it's not who I thought it was. Yes, it's an Alex but it's the model Alex.

"Why am I here? *Zaria

"Because we need time together and those other Alex are always in the way. And it's not fair, I want time with you. So that's what's going to happen. *Alex

"You just asked me for coffee or something, not kidnap me. *Zaria

"I had to get your attention and make you see. *Alex

"See what? *Zaria

"That I'm the one for you. I bought breakfast because I don't cook. But it's okay because you will be around to cook breakfast and dinner for me. *Alex

"You're crazy. *Zaria

"Crazy in love with you. *Alex

He hands me the food and leaves the room and of course, he locks me in.

Model Alex POV

"I got her at the house, come over when you can.

"Okay, I will.

Yes, I have a partner in the kidnapping of Zaria. My partner is Alex that tried to pump my former friend Alex with poison to kill him. I lied when I said I didn't see anyone. I gave him the signal when the woman left the hospital room. I was never asleep.

Ace POV

" Something feels wrong, like weird. *Ace

"Your spidey senses are tingling? *Chef Alex

"Yea, you know psychics run in my family. *Ace

"But you couldn't tell it was a bad idea to get your girl pregnant. That shit needs a tune-up *Chef Alex

"Haha, maybe you should be a comedian instead of a chef. Anyway, I think we should go bother Zaria. *Ace

"She probably in the hospital with that nigga. She is probably giving him a sponge bath. *Chef Alex

I mean mug him and he gives me a smirk.

His phone makes noise and he looks at it.

"She definitely isn't at the hospital *Chef Alex

"Why do you say that? Did she text you? *Ace

"No, but the citizen app alerted me. She was kidnapped in front of the hospital. *Chef Alex

"What?! By who? *Ace

"They don't know, it was an unmarked white van. *Chef Alex

"It gotta be the person that came out of the room before I came in.

"I still can't believe your dumb ass tried to smother him. *Chef Alex

"He is alive though so it doesn't matter. *Ace

"It will when Zaria finds out. *Chef Alex

"She has to not be kidnapped first. *Ace

"True. one Alex is in the hospital, I and you have alibis

"Do we really? *Ace

"I was at my restaurant firing a server that caused a scene. That shit is probably viral so yes I have an alibi. Do you?

"I was at a baby girl dance recital, I was dozing off as some white little girl was dancing ballet. I was with my family the rest of the night. *Ace

"It has to be another Alex or maybe it's your baby mama. Maybe she finally snapped.

"She was on the phone a lot while at the recital but she could be finally cheating on me. I hope so. *Ace

"She can definitely do better. *Chef Alex

"Anyway, we have two suspects and their names are Alex. Let's go find Zaria homegirl, Sade. *Ace

"How are we going to find her? *Chef Alex

"I'm just going to google: nearest fashion nova store. *Ace

I google and then we leave my store.

20minutes later, we pulled up in front of fashion Nova on Houston Street.

We walk into the store and all the women stare at us. But we ignore them though because it's all about Zaria.

We spot Sade at the counter with a customer.

"Omg, did y'all come here to buy Zaria clothes? She doesn't like these clothes.

"Zaria has been kidnapped.

"Omg. Why? She is so nice. She is teaching me how to cook so I can keep my Alex. *Sade

"We think it's an Alex. *Ace

"Definitely not mine. Zaria isn't my Alex type. *Sade

"Do you know where he is right now? *Chef Alex

"At work. Barnes & Noble. *Sade

"That's a bookstore. *Ace

"No, it's a law firm. I know where my main works. Now go away.

We shake our heads and leave

We get back to my car and get in.

"Go on Ig and find his page then google him. That nigga is obviously not a lawyer. We are going to the hospital.

During the drive to the hospital, we find out a lot about the lawyer Alex.

He was a lawyer but got disbarred for having sex with a client in the judge's chamber during lunch. He actually works at Barnes & Noble as a stock person.

I found parking by the hospital and we get out of the car. We go into the hospital and I charm the nurse at the desk.

We go up to Alex's floor and go to his room.

A hot nurse is feeding him pudding

"Why the fuck are y'all here? *Aboogie

"To investigate Zaria kidnapping. *Chef Alex

"So which one is Benson and which one is Stabler? *A Boogie

"Who? *Ace

"It's from a tv show, the one with Ice-T. *Chef Alex

"Oh, that shit. I'm Ice-T character and this is nigga is Stabler. *Ace

"Anyway, we think lawyer Alex kidnapped Zaria. Was he creeping around yesterday? *Chef Alex

"No. The only when that I remember seeing is my family friend Alex. He is a model.

"The pretty nigga that was fake sleeping by your beside. *Ace

"Fake sleeping? Why?

"Cause obviously that nigga is helping lawyer Alex with his schemes. Where does he live at?

He starts to get out of bed.

"I'm coming with y'all.

"Nigga, didn't you just wake up from a coma.

"Yes so.

"You will be slowing us down. They could be doing horrible things to her. *Chef Alex

"Yea he is right.

We look up and it's a fine woman in the room with us.

"I'm Brianna, his sister.

"If my heart wasn't taken by Zaria, got damn. *Ace

"First of all, I'm married. Second of all, Zaria is my brother's woman.

"Yea for now. Anyway, let us go.*Ace

Chef Alex and I leave the room.
