Chapter 20-the ending

I meet with reid the next day and realize it's the same coffee shop where we first met.

He sees me and does a little awkward wave and smiles at willow.

"Hey" i say and we hug and he kisses willow on the cheek. i also realized we were sitting on a table for 4 and just as i'm about to say something a lady around my age walks out from the bathroom and heads our way.

She is brunette with dark green eyes and more tan skin. The girl is maybe around 5'6 and isn't dressed very nice and she wears glasses.

"Hey babe" she says and kisses spencer and he looks at me awkwardly. "Hi you must be Willows mom, you took her from reid right" and i glare at Spencer.

"That's funny he said that considering he wanted nothing to do with me" and the girl just looks at me and sits down.

"What did you even want to talk about?" i ask annoyed

"I think we need to discuss willow...I mean she is mine...right?"

I can't believe he even asked that, especially in front of his bitchy fiancé.

"Of course it's yours...you idiot" i mumble the last part but he still hears it and his face does a little frown.

"Ok i'll do the talking because i didn't come to have a staring contest. Willow is coming back with me to California and we will not be visiting here again, if you want to play your part as a father you can visit if you want and i'm not going to make you send money when i can perfectly provide for her myself" i say

"You see i don't agree with this i think he should be able to see her" His fiancé says

"First of all its not your place at all to tell me what's best. You have 0 relation to OUR kid, second i don't even know your name so you need to know your place" And with that i get up and pick up willow.

"We have a plane to catch in 5 hours and i'd really rather not spend it with you guys" And spencer gets up and hugs us both

"I love you" he whispers into my ear
I head back to Hotchs house and pack all of my stuff

"You sure you don't want to stay?" Hotch says carrying my suitcase and i grab willows

"i'm very sure, there's not place for me here" I say and with that we get into the car and arrive at the airport.
Me and willow get on the plane and i can't help but think of reid's last words

"I love you"

Not everyone works out. Love is real but it's not for everyone. There was love between me and Spencer but like a rose it dies soon. NEVER chase love as it should come right to you <3

13 years later

"Mom ! can i go to my friends house this weekend" Willow asked

"Did you do-"

"All of my homework, my test and everything yes i did"

"What are you guys going to be doing"

"Well we were going to maybe go to a party or something."

"Willow DIANA REID, and you weren't going to tell me!" i say and she rolls her eyes

"Mom you can trust me, when have i ever let you down" and i get a little emotional because she is all grown up.

knock knock.

"i'll get it" Willow says and when she opens the door she squeals.

"DAD" and i turn around and there spencer reid is. He has been visiting her a few times every year but this time was very unexpected.

"Oh willow was just leaving actually she's going to a party" I say and spencer does a confused look on his face.
"Gotta go dad, love you" she says then hugs us and leaves

"I wanted to talk to you actually" He says and we go to sit down and we sit across from each other.

"Me and Sofia (sofia is his wife) got a divorce about 2 weeks ago" He starts and i just look at him

"Aw i'm sorry do you want my pity or something" i say and laugh and he rolls his eyes

ever since i've left, Spencer and I have been getting along pretty good except for the fact that his bitchy wife was always complaining and i could tell she never liked me and for that reason Willow was never around her or aloud to be.

"I was thinking maybe Willow can stay with me or actually come over to virginia for a while" and i look at him wide eyed

"Eh i don't know she's all i have" and spencer looks down as those words leave my mouth

"Then why don't both of you come back" he says and looks up at me and i smirk

"What are you suggesting Spencer Reid"

"You guys should take a 2 week vacation and if you like it maybe move back, i want to start seeing willow more i miss her"

"I'll think about it but she can definitely go over there, let's watch a movie while we wait for her and you can spend the night we have a guest bedroom" and spencer laughs

4 hours later it is now 8:39 PM

My phone is ringing and i go to pick it up but spencer is laying on me and i laugh and push him off and pick up the phone

"Hello?"

"Hi, we have your daughter with us and we have a few rules in order to assure you she will be let go safely now make sure you and Spencer are listening very carefully..."

I wake spencer up so fast and he groans. "Spencer get up now they have Willow listen to what they say please" and spencer jolts up scared

"We're willing to trade in Y/N for Willow after all she is the real slut. An address will be sent to your phone, only and i MEAN ONLY Y/N can come if there are any other people involved i will kill her and everyone around. Once you have the address please come and trade yourself in"

and then the voice cut out. someone rings on the door and I go to open it and there's a letter on the floor.
