Y/N'S POINT OF VIEW

"HYDROGEN FLOURIDE IS A COLORLESS...

...gas which has a rather acrid smell." I explained in front of the class while holding a breaker with a colorless fluid inside.

With my white, laboratory coat wrapped around my body and safety glasses in my eyes with gloves in my hands, I'm like an open book with knowledge all about chemicals, like a mad scientist obsessed with experiments but all I did was to study and memorize the steps, the formulas so I can, at least, impress Akaashi Keiji.

He suddenly looked forward in a rigid, fixed stare, and his lips parted in amazement. Maybe, was too surprised that potato like me holds numerous philosophy about Chemistry. He fixes those eyeglasses placed on his face. Not a muscle of me stirred—the hard, defiant, implacable stare in my eyes never wavered for an instant.

My heart automatically skipped a beat, making me lost my focus on these fluids set in front of me.

"Potassium chlorate is often used for making fireworks, as this substance, which was discovered in the late 18th century, is very explosive. In itself, Berthollet's salt is not dangerous, but if you mix it with organic matter, you can make an explosive substance."

The teacher clapped her hands.

"You surpassed my expectations once again, Ms. L/N."

Nailed it.

"Now, can I ask Mr. Keiji to continue the explanation for her? I bet you have something in store for us too."

I bit my lip as his dark, raven hair swayed as he elegantly walked forward, right in my direction, right on my position. I froze in place, like a statue in struck, my unwavering stare at his glorious face before he kindly asked me to pass a chemical to him.

Jesus Christ.

"Phosphine is a colorless poisonous gas that is manufactured in industry. Unlike ammonia, which it resembles, this gas contacts badly with water..."
