Chapter 24

I stare at the ceiling thinking about Emma and how terrible of a friend I am.

I was so close to finally telling her about how I feel! But I'm such a coward.

"Cai!!" Mom calls me from downstairs.
"What?" I roll my eyes.

"Someone's looking for you" Mom replies.

"Who?" I ask.

"Casper!" She shouts.

Casper? Who the fuck is Casper?

I rub my eyes and do a little stretching.

I take a deep breath as I get up and walk outside my room.

I walk downstairs and see Carter sitting on the couch.

"Carter? What are you doing here?" I ask.

"What do you mean what are you doing here? We're gonna buy clothes remember?" He frowns.

"Buy clothes? For what?" I ask.

"For tonight Jerk!" He frowns.

Oh yeah I totally forgot today is Friday!

"We're gonna shop now?" I ask.

"I wanna make sure we are in sync" Carter frowns.

Suddenly the front door opens and Anna enters the house.

"Hey" She smile.

"Hey... You're here too?" I frown.

"Yeah your mom called me" She smile.
"Don't you have class?" I ask.

"I don't" She winks.

"Casey! Get ready! We need to go now or we're gonna be late for tonight!" Carter frowns.

"Where are you going?" Anna ask.

"Buy clothes" I sigh.

Anna gasps and claps her hands in excitement.

"Yeeyy!! Shopping! I'm in" Anna squeals.

"Thank god a girl with a fashion sense is coming" Carter smile.

"I'm gonna go change" I frown.

I roll my eyes and walk back to my room.

"Hi I'm Anna!"

"Carter"

I can hear them talking from downstairs.

I take a black shirt and navy blue skinny jeans.

I wear my clothes and wear my black sneakers.

I put perfume all around my body and gel my hair.

I get out of my room and walk downstairs.

"Turtle Neck is a babe" I can hear Carter talking.

"Right? I love Turtle Neck! It makes you look like so European" Anna chuckles.

I walk to the living room and Carter smiles at me.

"I didn't know you're good at fashion" Carter looks at me proudly.

"I'm gay remember?" I whisper, making sure my parents can't hear but my friends can.

"Let's go!!!!  Let's go Shopping!" Carter claps his hand in excitement.

I smile at them and we walk together outside the house.

We are using Carter's car since he's driving because I don't know any descent boutique in this place.
