Apples

I bit into an apple once. Never did it again. I can't, not knowing what I know now.

Some apples are born with teeth. It's rare, but if you come across one, you'd better run. Because the ones with teeth are carnivores and will most definitely eat your tongue or lips when you try to take a bite. Or they'll suck out your soul. I've heard it both ways.

It's the pretty ones you've gotta look out for. The tasty and sweet ones. Bright red as though pulled straight from a wet painting. The perfect apple. That's how they lure you in.
