Ruhana is a 30 year old independant woman. Yet, she holds a dark past, which still affects her. Amidst her chaotic life, a teenage girl, Bulbul, gives her solace and peace. She's an orphan and is attached to Ruhana.

As per the plan, Ruhana is with Asha Maa, Bulbul and other children to celebrate Chetan's birthday. They are at the Kali Pahadi Temple, while ACP Vineet is at the secluded area of the jungle, waiting for Makhija and the drug consignment, whereas the evil Makhija has other plans.
Picnic Spot
Ruhana is with Chetan and punters when a pair of hands blindfold her eyes. She freezes at the spot for a moment, but then smiles as she recognises the touch.
"Ab fursat mili tujhe apni Di se baat karne ki." she says and removes the hands from her eyes.
Bulbul pouts at her while Ruhana smiles.

"Huh! Kaise hamesha pehchaan lete ho? This is not fair!!" Bulbul says making a face.

"I know you very well. Aur fir jisse hum pyar karte hain, unki toh aahat se hi unhe pehchaan lete hain. Aur phir mujhe toh aisa lagta hai jaise hum dono ka rishta toh aur bhi khas hain. " Ruhana says patting her cheeks.
Ruhana and Bulbul share a bond of love that's beyond words. The depth of their relation can't be measured. This is the reason that Ruhana always senses if something happened to Bulbul or if she's sad or in a bad mood.

" I know Di, I love you too. But aap hamesha mujhe pehchan lete ho aur mujhse judi koi bhi baat ho, hamesha aapka guess sahi hota hai. Ye toh galat hai na. Aise toh aapko mere plans pehle hi pata chal jayenge. Kya aap mujhse thoda kam pyar nahi kar sakti ki kabhi aapka guess galat ho?? " Bulbul pouts at her.
