Ruhana is a 30 year old independant woman. Yet, she holds a dark past, which still affects her. Amidst her chaotic life, a teenage girl, Bulbul, gives her solace and peace. She's an orphan and is attached to Ruhana.

ACP Vineet saves Bulbul from Makhija's clutches and takes her back to the orphanage. He also proposes the idea of taking Bulbul to his home in front of Asha Ma. Abhijeet and Vinay support Vineet while Asha Ma hesitates a little. Though she knows that Vineet rescued Bulbul, yet she is fearful. After all, they don't know him any better,he's still a stranger. Abhijeet and Vinay convince Asha Ma but Ruhana denies the proposal.

"Bulbul kahin nahi jayegi. Agar vo yahan nahi reh sakti, toh vo mere sath rahegi - mere ghar pe." she says.
"Ruhana, zidd mat kijiye. Bulbul ACP sahab ke sath mehfuz rahegi." Vinay tries to convince Ruhana.

"Ruhana ji! Please! Bulbul ko vahan koi takleef nahi hogi.. Infact, aap jab bhi chahein, ussey milne aa sakti hain." Vineet says softly.
Ruhana gazes at Vineet. He knows she's angry at him and she doesn't believe him. He has misunderstood her at their first meeting. She considers him the culprit for Bulbul's condition. Though, she's thankful to him for saving her little one, yet she is fearful. She doesn't believe Vineet anymore. Vinay tries to convince her but she shouts at him.
"Mujhe inpe vishwas nahin hai, vinay. Ye hi chahte They na ki Bulbul gawahi de. Dekha kya hua uske sath!!!! Bulbul inke sath nahi jayegi." Ruhana says loudly.

"Lekin, Ruhana! Unhone toh Bulbul ko bachaya hai na!" Vinay says.
"I agree, Vinay. And I am thankful to him. Lekin jisey hum jaante nahi , uske sath kaise jaane dun main apni gudiya ko?" She says gazing at the two men.
