The Prank

Come sleep at Floriana and Eulalia's cottage, they said.

It'll be fun, they said.

The moon rose high over their little house

Not a peep to be heard

Flori and Eula crept silent as a mouse

Over to where Pacifica snored

Sancho and Pablo slept all unaware

Of what was about to unfold

Only Savannah woke up and stared

At the two sisters being so bold

First came the marker making squiggly lines

On each of Pacifica's cheeks

Then came the cookies, stacked up so high

Beneath the rubber duck that squeaked

They twisted her curly lock into a braid

And then wrote on Pablo's chest

Of her waking up they were certainly afraid

But at last came the best!

The Pastor's sunglasses had been cased

By Sister Floriana and friends

She pushed them onto Pacifica's face

She'd never even know what happened!

And Alvadeo would blame the angry nun

Just like he had before

Once again she'd have to run

So fast as to make her legs sore!

The prank was coming together nicely

And likely would've succeeded

If Sister Eulalia after all this finally,

Had not been so greedy.

She slowly placed a red hot pepper

Right into Pacifica's nose

She should've known this wouldn't work ever

Something was going to blow

Pacifica's face contorted,

The puddle of drool ceased

The pepper fell right out, the plan aborted

When she released a mighty sneeze!

The Sisters were made and a different kind of fun

Was in store for them that night

A battle with markers, frogs and nuns

And so began the fight!
