"(Y/N)! Wait!"
There was a glitch sound followed by tapping of leather shoes following behind me, it filled me with fright. So much fright, I wanted scream, to cry, to run. The only thing that escaped my mouth was hair as i panted hard, not slowing down at all.

Straight ahead there was tall wooden fences and a convenient placed rock. I hopped onto it and over the wooden fence, through the backyard and into the backyards of an entire street of houses, then cutting a right back home. There couldn't have been a way for him to follow me. The yell of my name had become to grow softer with every step. I took my keys from my pocket, anxiously looking for the key to my house as it became in sight.

I would take the bus from now on.

Fumbling to get the key into the lock, I heard my name again. I would soon realize that I was in my head to try and get to safety that the voice had actually come from one of my neighbors, who was abruptly cut off by the slam and locking of my door.

Everything was quiet. I had a weapon in hand which was not much but a bat I kept by the front door in case of break ins. Wielding it as if my life depended on it, I stood feeling my heart start to slow, my feet spaced apart ready to attack or run without getting tripped up.

I waited.
And waited.
And waited.

Nothing.

I felt my body ease, holding the bat with the one hand and turning to get myself something to eat. The wooden tool dragged against the tile flooring as I made my way to the fridge. I looked through a window above the sink and saw a tall man with green eyes, glasses, a style of beige suit and his hair parted down the middle, fluffy straight hair.
His eyes, again, something with his eyes.

"Is there something with green eyes that is so off putting to me?" I questioned, unknowingly noticing I was staring. The man and I made eye contact and I quickly ducked. I think he saw me.

A knock at my door and jiggling. My expression turned sour as I held tightly to the handle of the bat, crouching low and quiet, a prowling predator to a prey. The jiggling became louder, as if Someone was trying to get in.

"Back off! I've got the police in speed dial!"

"Honey? It's your mom! Open the door, I thought you said you'd leave it unlocked."

I jogged to the door and opened it, seeing none other than my mother. A tall woman with grey hair and brown eyes- green eyes. Had I not spent enough time with my mother that I forgot her eye color? "Sorry ma, I thought someone was following me." I touched my cheek, my fingertips barely grazing my undereye, as if my body was to tell me something.

"Dear, you shouldn't be too worried, if you are scared call me or your uh father."

I don't have a present father. My mothers eyes aren't green.

"Mom.. Want something to drink?"

"Of course!"

I lead her to the kitchen, then distanced quickly, enough for me to grab her arm and twist it behind her back and push her to the floor. A cube spills out from a pocket, sliding across the floor. "Who the hell are you and why do you look like my mother!"

The body groaned, tensing from the arm in an unnatural spot. "Y/n! Let your mother go!"

"If you were my mother, when's my birthday!"

"(Y/b/d)!"

I began interrogating the person, and every single bit of answer was correct. The watch my supposed mother was wearing began to glint a nice blue, and I grabbed it. The body underneath fizzled out and there sat the guy from earlier. Green eyes, fluffy hair parted in the middle, glasses and beige suit.

"You creep! Not only did you follow me home but you also know a lot about me! And I've never met you before! And where the hell is my mother! How did you change into another person?" I grabbed his arm and continued pushing it up to its unnatural spot and he smacked the floor, as if it was wrestling and he requested a time out.

"Stop! Stop! Listen, please!" He gasped, kicking his legs. "The blue orb, pour water on it!"

"Why should I trust you?"

"Please!"

"No! What are you doing here!" I grabbed my phone and showed it to his face. "I'm calling the cops if you don't tell me what the hell you are doing here, and from that we will see if it's still call worthy."

He mumbled beneath me and I lessened the amount of pressure on his arm, but only by a bit.

"Im- I'm Megamind, from another earth. I've spent months trying to get to you!"

I scowled in disgust.

"Not like that! You see, minion and I-"

"There's another one?" I peeked around the house and pressed my foot on his back to keep him down as I looked out the windows.

"No! The trip could only take 2 turns and I couldn't risk taking back 3 people." He said, squirming under my foot.

"Who says I would go with you?"

"Just listen!"

"Ugh! I've had enough, get up." I moved momentarily for him to get up and quickly grabbed his wrists and set the behind his back before he had the chance to do anything. I sat him in a chair and grabbed hairties on a nearby table and used them to tie his hands to the chair.

"Continue your 'story'." I declared, sitting a few feet away from him in a chair with my bat in my hands. The blue orb from the floor was picked up and set beside me on the table,  and I stared at him intensely.

He looked nervous, avoiding eye contact multiple times before sighing. "Fine."
