Kira Onyx joins the guild known as Fairy Tail. She joins looking for a family and boy did she find one. She loves Fairy Tail with all her heart.
This story will take place as a backstory till her adventure in Fairy Tail ends.

It's been a week since the festival and Laxus's banishment. Kira's been overworking herself ever since he left. It kept her from thinking about Laxus. Everyone see's how tired she is, they would question her about it but they all know how scary she can be when she's tired. Kira tried talking to her but she avoided her. But this mission was different,the mission requested Erza and Kira. They both accepted it and started packing. The mission was in a town called Riverside. Neither of them heard of the town and it was basically in the middle of nowhere. Erza and Kira met at the train station "Erza. I have to warn you, I don't know why but I've been getting motion sick and I think it's because of my new demons" she nodded "Will you be okay?" "I should be, I just didn't want you to worry" Erza smiled, and thanked her for the warning. They both got on the train to Riverside. "Do you know why they needed our help?" Kira asked, still happy the train didn't move yet "No, the paper didn't give much information" Kira nodded, but suddenly the train moved. Kira clutched her stomach, she groaned and looked at Erza with pleading eyes "Kill me...." Erza chuckled and got up to sit by Kira. "It's okay" Erza reassured her, Kira groaned "Y-you're n-not s-sick" she wasn't gagging like Natsu does, she just looked pale and in pain. Erza sighed and put an arm around Kira "No I'm not" Erza punches Kira in the stomach "There you go, no more pain" Erza rubbed Kira's head, she then closed her eyes and took a nap.
<Time skip>
Kira's P.O.V:
I woke up to the train stopping, but I still felt a pain in my stomach. I rubbed my stomach and woke up Erza "We're here" she stretched almost knocking me in the head. We both got off the train with our bags. And I'm honestly surprised how light Erza packed. We made our way to a place where we could set up camp. We found a cave nearby and decided to set camp. "Why didn't we set up in town again?" I asked "Because, I want to catch what is happening from afar. And I didn't want whatever it is to see us" Erza explained, she did have a point. We waited and waited, we both took turns sleeping. Erza shook me awake "I saw movement" she pointed to where she was it "I can go in as Lunar, she's better in the night" I asked "You go ahead I'll follow you" I nodded, I transformed into Lunar making sure to keep the armor I already had on. I creeped out of the cave with Erza behind me. My horns and markings darkly glow. We make it to the town and find the group. I saw the marks on their shoulder, hands, legs, necks, etc. "I think their a dark guild" I whisper to Erza, she looked at the marks and agreed with me. They lit a match "ERZA!?" I whisper yelled, she looked at the match "We need to take action" both me and Erza jumped out of our hiding places, I gripped Lunar's sword and Erza gripped her own "Put the match out." I commanded they laughed, I could hear the fear behind the laughs. Probably because I'm still in my Lunar form. "Don't make me repeat myself" I commanded, they quickly started charging their magic. "Ready?" I asked Erza "Yup" we attacked the guild members, to be honest the fight only lasted 5 minutes. The town thanked us, they gave us our reward which was 450,000 jewel. Which was 225,000 each. I asked Erza if we could walk back. She said it will be a long walk but since I rode the train with her we could. I thanked her and we started walking.
Third Person P.O.V:
It's been two days and they still haven't been back. They decided to set up camp, they found a cliff and set up there. While setting up they heard crying. Kira said she would check it out. She followed the crying, until she stopped she was a little girl. She had bandages on her arms and legs, she wore a tan ripped up dress that looked more like an oversized shirt. The thing that stood out to Kira was the light brown cat ears and tail.

"Hey..." Kira kneeled down next to the girl she scrambled away "It's okay... don't be scared" Kira realized she was still in her Lunar form. 'Why didn't Erza tell me?' She transformed back to her normal form
"Not so scary now right?" Kira chuckled, the little girl looked a little bit more comfortable with Kira's new look. "Where are your parents?" Kira asked "T-they d-died" Kira's heart broke "I'm sorry, how old are you?" "4" the little girl answered "What's your name?" Kira asked "L-Lily" "Lily, do you want to come with me?" Lily nodded, "Alright, here" Kira held out her hand, Lily's pale hand grabbed Kira's. Kira led Lily back to the camp "Erza, I found a little girl" Erza looked at the girl, and smiled warmly "What's her name?" "Lily, And I think I just adopted her" "Sounds like you" Kira smiled at her "We're taking the train" Kira declared "W-what" Erza was shocked "I don't want Lily out here anymore, she's only 4 and I need to take care of her injuries. I don't have the things I need" Erza nodded "Tomorrow we'll get on the train" Kira nodded, they fell asleep Lily hugged Kira as her arm wrapped protectively around Lily's small frame.

The group was able to find a train, the whole time Lily tried helping Kira. And Kira didn't want Erza to knock her out, worried Lily would worry more. The torture ride was done and they got off the train. Kira kneeled next to Lily "Lily, dear I'm taking you to, my family... but they're loud. I don't want you to be scared of them if they use their magic" Lily nodded "O-okay" they started walking to the guild, they heard the yells of the members "Erza, can you calm them down first?" Erza nodded and walked in, Kira picked up Lily. Erza opened the doors for them to enter. The guild started taking but went quite once they saw the small child in Kira's arms.
