When we arrived at the hospital he was already gone. Echo didn't get the chance to have a final talk with his father. Nang mapaluhod si Echo habang umiiyak ay napaiyak narin ako. I hate seeing him like this.
It's been one week and the police were still investigating what happened that night. He was stabbed in the stomach. Tito Easton is a good person, who would do such thing? That was awful! I hope they'll caught the one who made it.
"Geez, can't believe that the killer had the guts to stabbed Mr. Easton. Pwede naman 'yong mga feeling bitch nalang dito sa mundo," Fallon muttered at kinuya iyong coffee niya sa counter.
"Fallon!" Lara scolded her and gave her death glares.
"Gagawa na nga lang ng krimen, hindi pa ginalingan," She added and rolled her eyes.
"Fallon! Gosh, watch your words,"Saway uli sa kaniya ni Lara at napailing-iling nalang.
"What? I'm just saying that the killer was so stupid and obnoxious to leave some evidence. I bet mahuhuli na siya mamaya," Fallon replied habang papasok kami sa room ng funeral wake ni tito Easton.
"Evidence?" I asked.
"Yep, they found a hair. I'm kinda curious what was his shampoo? Oh, I forgot to tell you, the killer was a guy," Fallon explained bago umupo sa tabi ng parents niya. Nagkatinginan muna kami ni Lara bago siya pumunta sa parents niya.
Umuwi muna ako sa bahay kanina para makapagpalit ng damit at nagpaiwan na sila dad at tita Meri doon. Nakasalubong ko sila Fallon at Lara papasok.
I bought some lunch in Mcdonalds dahil hindi pa kumakain sila Echo. Nakatayo parin si Echo sa tapat ng coffin ng daddy niya samantalang sila tita Colleen at Ezrah ay nakaupo.
"I'm so sorry for what happened, tita," I gave her a hug at umiyak siya sandali sa bisig ko.
Tinignan ko si Ezrah na pulang-pula ang mga mata at nagtanguan lang kami sa isa't isa. Umupo na uli siya sa tabi ni Kristah at isinandal ang ulo sa balikat ni Kristah. Nang magkatinginan kami at nag nginitian lang kami bago ko ibalik ang tingin kay tita Colleen.
