Good Morning! (Laxus Dreyar)

Now you couldn't wait for the weekend to end!

Just to see him once more and maybe even talk more to him.

Getting ready for bed, you wondered if you should try to look slightly different once school was back in session for the week.

"I can't wait!"

You spoke barely above a whisper as you crawled into your bed.

The warmth of the covers warmed your cold feet.

"Monday, please hurry up soon!" ((A/N: Considering Fairy Tail isn't located in Japan and takes place in an alternate world, school starts on Monday...like America. AMERICA!))

Your eyes slowly closed as you snuggled the covers closer to you.

Just like every morning, Laxus woke up at 7:00 to get ready.

He fixed his hair and grabbed your umbrella with a smile.

"Today's the day."

The tall male jogged out of the house and headed for the train station.

His neighbor was already there half awake.

"Morning Laxus."

"Morning Niko!"

Niko stared at the umbrella.

"Who's is that?"

"(First Name) landed it to me on Friday. I'm giving it back to her today."

"She's lucky that you're kind enough the give it back. Most weird guys would keep it like a memento."

"You calling me weird?!"

"You two haven't said a single word to each other for half a year! All you do is stare at her and then look away when you two make eye contact. It's pathetic."

"Whatever! Today...today is going to be different!"

The train pulled up and Niko yawned.

"Sure. You say that every day."

Laxus glared and they both got on.

Instead of taking his usual seat, Laxus stood by the door holding the umbrella close.

Today would definitely be different!

You waited at the train station with Lisanna as usual.

"It was kind of you to lend Laxus your umbrella on Friday. Now you two have an excuse to talk!"

"L-Lisanna!"

Your cheeks went red as your friend grinned.

"You've liked him since the school year started. About time you two started talking."

She was right.

You liked Laxus since the first day of school and Friday was the first time you uttered a word to him.

The clock struck 8:07 as the train pulled up.

"By the way--"

You tuned Lisanna out as the doors opened.

On the other side was Laxus standing there with your umbrella in his hand.

Lisanna noticed and slipped away as you stood across from Laxus inside the train.

He stood tall as the gap between you both closed.

Both of you were blushing.

"Good morning, (First Name)!"

He was nervous and it made you smile a bit.

It made you less nervous.

"Good morning, Laxus."

Laxus held out your umbrella to you.

"Thank you for lending this to me."

"You're welcome."

You took back the umbrella and felt giddy.

"U-Um, (First Name)? Think we could have lunch together today? I mean, if you're not busy!"

You blinked, but soon giggled.

"I'd love to Laxus."

Upon hearing that, Laxus grinned, now excited for lunch to arrive just so he could spend more time with you.
