Chapter 12

I woke up with a jump. I looked next to me and my Jason was laying next to me fast asleep. I tiptoed to the bathroom and opened the door to reveal probably the ugliest bathroom i have ever seen. The bathroom was themed in what was supposed to believe a eggplant color. However, since it has not been cleaned properly in a while. The color was almost yellow. The shower was decent though thank god. I reached over and turned on the shower adjusting it to just the right temperature. I stripped down and threw my clothes to the floor. I stepped carefully into the shower and shut the curtain. I felt the water down my body slowing relaxing all the tense muscles in my back. I washed up and rinsed off. I grabbed my towel and thats when I realized. I have no clean clothes to put on. I wrapped the towel around my body tightly and stepped outside the bathroom to see Jason awake and watching t.v. He glanced over at me then did a double take.

" Um destin.." he said while clearing his throat.

"Chill Jase I just need some clothes for tonight." I said with a smile laugh.

"Oh..well what do you want to do." he asked with a eyebrow raised obviously confused.

"Well i saw a mall not to far from here... I was going to see if you would go buy me something cute to wear for tonight.Pleaseee." I whined with my best puppy dog face.

He rolled those beautiful baby blues and got up from the bed, grabbed his keys off the table and strode towards the door.

"Only for you beautiful" He muttered and with a kiss on my forehead he closed the door and was off to the mall.

It's a good thing i used to drag him shopping with me when we did date!* i thought to myself. I grabbed my phone from pants pocket in the bathroom and sat down on the bed. 4 unread text messages ...

"GREAT!" I muttered.

*Hello Destiny. I am out of the hospital. They released me this morning. I am home. We need to talk no matter what. I love you as my own.*

I sighed and then scrolled to the next text

Chris

*We need to talk* is all it read. Ya i'm sure you just want to yell at me...

"Nope" I said out loud popping the p

Alissa

*Are you and Chris still coming tonight?*

*Not with Chris. But i am still coming. If thats alright?*

*Of course but with who?*

*Jason..*

*I'm no rocket scientist but when you show up with Jason won't Chris get pissed off?*

*I don't care*

*alright then. Remember party starts at 8. Byob. *

I didn't bother to text back. I scrolled down to the final text

it was from a number i did not recognize

*My sweet, you are mine. The next time you kiss him. He is dead.*

My jaw hit the floor. HOW DARE HE MAKE A THREAT AGAINST JASON! I love Jason more then life itself. I mean ya we aren't official or anything. But hell i would choose jason over some stupid vampire prince in a heart beat.

*speaking of heart beat. I'm hungry * I thought to myself. "Wait what the hell!?* i yelled at myself in my head. Alright Destiny just shake it off. BLOOOD BLOOD BLOOD my head started to pound. I sat myself down next to the hotel phone and called for a pizza. Please dear god let this help that craving! I know its not blood but something is better then nothing.

I sat anxiously awaiting the pizza. It felt like forever until i heard a small knock on the door. It has to be the pizza i thought to myself and jumped up. I ran over to the door and threw open. Threw some money at the delivery guy. I sat at the table and took out two slices of pepperoni pizza. I pratically swallowed them down. Finally the pounding in my head came to a halt. I heard a small rapping at the door. I bit down on my lip if it was Jason wouldn't he just walk in? I walked over to the door

"who is it?" I whispered. What if it is chris or even worse cadence. I shuddered and then heard.

"Me babe OPen up . Hands are full." I heard jason mumble. I opened the door for him . I began to smile as i seen he carried in two bags.

Jason must of seen me staring at the bags because i heard " Um destin you going to shut the door babe?"

I blushed a bit and walked over to him and sat down next to him.

"well what did you get me."i chirped.

"why don't u look" He said with a laugh and put the bags on my lap.

In the first white bag i pulled out a short, white dress that was semi low cut. It was chaste but sexy. the length is just above my knees so it is sexy but not skanky. From the second bag i pulled out a pair of black heels. These are not stilletos just a pair of heels. I smiled to myself just like Jason to know that i don't want to go over the top. And without thinking I threw my arms over him and hugged him.

He returned the hug and whispered " I'm glad you like it sweet heart now go get ready so we can go. I feel like we both could use a night out."

I went ahead collected everything i would need to get ready and headed into the bathroom.

I brushed my hair and my hair fell loosely down past my shoulders in its wavy manner. I applied some base, eyeliner, some mascara and did my eyes in a smokey look. I applied blood red lipstick. I smacked my lips. I glanced at myself in the mirror. My pale skin and blonde hair contraste perfectly with my white dress and black heels.

After about 5 minutes on debating if i should just put my hair up. I decided to leave it down. I left the bathroom to find Jason munching on some pizza.

"Um Jase i'm ready." I said with as much self confidence as i could muster. He glanced in my direction and ended up staring at me for what seemed like forever. I thought for a second the pizza was going to fall out of his mouth.

I hid a giggle and said " Jase are you okay." My voice must of brought him back to reality because he gave a shrug swallowed his pizza and stood up.

" So you know where Alissa lives right?" I asked as we began to walk out of the room and towards the car. He opened the passenger door for me and said"Who doesnt" I buckled up and waited for Jase to buckle up as well. He turned his car on and was about to go when he stopped and looked at me. I felt the heat begin to rise in my cheeks.

"Yes Jase." I asked swallowing very hard.

"You look beautiful. " He said with a sweet sincere grin and then began to drive towards Alissa's.

It seemed like forever until we arrived at Alissa's. The only thing that alerted me to being there was Jase shaking me waking me up. Damn. I must of fallen asleep. I gave him a sheepish grin.

"Sorry. " I muttered. I looked around at my surroundings. Alissa's house was big old but beautiful plantation home. Her whole front yard which was a good acre atleast was filled with cars. I felt my palms begin to sweat as i unbuckled and got out of the car. I waited for jase. He was next to me so i began to walk as confidently as i could to the front door. I felt jase grab my hand and realized he wanted to hold my hand. I gave him a small smile and held it. I rang the doorbell. The door opened to reveal Alissa in the most gorgeous short black dress. It had a daring low cut with a length that barely covered her hoohah.

"Well aren't you guys the lovely couple." She said with a cat like smile as she waved jase and i in.
