Shattered

Revelations

I opened my eyes, to the castles pale cold walls and it's stone cold floor. I shivered a bit and took my surroundings in a bit more as my eyes adjusted to the dark. I glanced around the room we were in. I am assuming it's a study just because of the fireplace, the bookshelves and the desk in the corner. 

"My love sit down please." I jumped a bit startled. I forgot Cadence had brought me here. I nodded and sat down on the love seat closes to the fireplace and began to rub my hands together desperately trying to warm them. Cadence walked over towards me a draped a rather large red wool blanket over me and sat down next to me pulling me toward"s him. I laid my head on his lap. I felt the tears start to well up in my eyes

. "We are meant for eachother darling" he said while running his fingers through my hair.

"I am seriously dumb. I mean how much stupider can I get and to top it off I'm crying on your shoulder!" i said starting to cry. Cadence stiffened up some then gently pushed me off him. I heard a soft creak from the door and glanced over to see a gorgeous raven haired girl. She reminded me of Snow White except for the deadly aura she gave off. She had smoking chocolate brown eyes and curves in all the right places but what stood out the most was her confidence.

"Well well Cade is this her the infamous damphir? Your beloved wife to be?" She spoke softly. She walked slowly towards me and stretched out her hand. I stood and shook it firmly never leaving her eyes. She gave me a small smirk.

" Well she does have spirit. I will say that Cade." She said with a laugh. I glanced towards cadence who had his head in his hands.

I looked her over once more an said " who are you?"
