Shattered

Chapter 7

*Destin* I heard a melodic voice whisper I tried to step forward toward this voice but instead I began to  fall. A

hand caught me as I looked up I saw this beautiful blonde hair green eyed woman pull me up.

*Hello baby girl* she said quietly with a smile as she stood me up. I don’t know how I was standing up but I was.

 I am literally floating in mid air in a black void with this woman. She is wearing a long white dress with a plunging neck line. It has a greek look to it.

Her blonde hair was straight and all the way down to her waist. I then knew who she was. “Mother.” I said barely audible.

She sighed. “yes my darling.” I reached to hug her and began to fall again.

I looked up for her to save me but she didn’t reach for me this time. “Mother!” I cried.

“Beware the children of light darling for they are not what they may seem..” she whispered as she disappeared.

I awoke with a start gasping for air. 

"Hold on Destin  please don't give up on me now." a voice said huskily.

I opened my  eyes and looked around and realized i was being carried. I moved my eyes upward and seen Chris.

"Hey.." I said with a small smile. "Just hush sweetheart i am taking you to the hospital." he said quietly

"The hell you are!" I heard a different voice say before I went out of consciousness.

*Destin go back to them you can't stay here my love.* I heard my mother's voice whisper.

I opened my eyes and there she stood over me. Her blonde hair almost tickling my face as she leaned over me.

I sat up and looked at her. She sat down next to me and looked at me. 

"What's the point? Nothing but hurt! I want to stay here with you!" i said as i started to cry.

"You will see with the hurt comes the good." she said as she stroked my face and pushed a piece of hair out of my face. "now go."
