CHAPTER 27

"Congratulations!"

Lynn approached me before she kissed my cheek. Nandito na kami ngayon sa cinema where they will launch our movies. Nauna na 'yung kay Kaid earlier and sa amin na itong next. 

"I'm so excited," she smiled.

"And I'm also nervous, Lynn," I told her. We waited for the host to call us before we went to the stage. Magsa-salita pa kasi kaming tatlo nina Lynn and Dalton before the official launching. Dalton's beside, ang kalma lang ng awra niya pero I'm sure that he's also nervous and excited.

"Ito na ang mga bida ng ating palabas na 'The Bloody Lights'! Our main protagonist, Ms. Dariantha Fernsby. At ang dalawa pang mga protagonist, Ms. Breylynn Relish and Mr. Dalton Fernsby. Please come up here on stage."

Naka-ngiti kaming tatlo as we went on the stage. The host gave the microphone to Dalton first. Then to Lynn. At sa akin niya huling ibinigay ang microphone.

"Good morning! Masaya akong makita kayong lahat dito for the launching of our movie. I won't make this long kasi tulad niyo, excited na rin ako for this." 

I heard them chuckled kaya napa-chuckle na rin ako. 

"On our first day of our shooting, I was nervous and excited at the same time because that was the first time na ang pagbi-bidahan ko ay isang mystery/thriller movie. Alam niyo namang lahat na sa romace movies niyo lang ako halos makikita kaya ganoon ang feeling ko. But as day passed by, I became being comfortable and nawala na 'yung nervousness ko. Thanks to our very great director, Direk Liam!" I bowed my head before I went back to my seat.

"Let's give a round of applause for the wonderful speech of Ms. Dariantha Fernsby!" Pumalakpak naman sila just like what they did kaninang sina Lynn at Dalton ang nagsalita. "Since tapos nang magbigay ng speech ang tatlong bida ng The Bloody Lights, let's all welcome Direk Liam Martin!"

Direk got the microphone from him. 

"Magandang umaga sa inyong lahat! Nakaka-kaba pala kapag maraming tao ang nasa harapan mo, ano? Ito ang first movie ko bilang isang direktor kaya ang saya-saya ko sa nakikita ko ngayon dito. As you can all see, 'The Bloody Lights' is a mystery/thriller movie na tungkol sa tatlong magka-kaibigan. Ang mga ito ay nagsimulang maka-enkuwentro ng misteryo pagtungtong nila ng kolehiyo. Nang ma-unravel na nila ang misteryong ito, nabigyang linaw na ang lahat. Ngunit hindi nila ina-asahang magiging madugo ang pagbukas ng ilaw sa kanilang mga isipan."

Chatters began to be indistinct sa pandinig ko dahil sa dami nila. They were talking about sa kung anong sinabi ni Direk.

"Ayan po ang inyong pakaka-abangan sa pelikulang 'The Bloody Lights'. Maraming salamat!"

He gave back the microphone and we gave a round of applause sa speech ni Direk. Bumalik na rin kami sa upuan namin saharap ng malaking screen dito sa cinema. A ten seconds countdown appeared on the big screen.

"At ang pinakahi-hintay ng lahat ng reporters, guests, at ng mga audiences ay malapit na! Sabayan niyo akong magbilang, guys!"

"Ten!"

"Nine!"

"Eight!"

"Seven!"

"Six!" 

"Five!"

"Four!"

"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!"

The movie started which caused the whole crowd to silence. We heard gasps from the back nang nasa gitna na ang movie. After the movie, we heard some great feedbacks mula sa mga audiences, might as well from the reporters na narito ngayon.
