"I heard what happened kagabi. Are you okay now, Dariantha?"

My manager, Allairy, was looking at me with worried eyes. Alam ko ang tinutukoy niya, but the thing that I don't know was paano niya nalaman ang nangyari? I mean, we didn't say it to anyone, but she knew it.

"I know that you're thinking right now kung paano ko nalaman. Don't worry, I just asked Dalton what happened in Tagaytay that's why nai-kuwento niya sa akin ang nangyari. Besides, I have the rights to know it because I'm your manager," she told me.

"I'm okay now, Allairy, don't worry," I smiled to assure her.

"Nagu-usap pa kayo riyan, magi-start na ang meeting!" We were both startled nang biglang sumigaw na naman si Direk Davis.

Allairy and I went to our seats before the meeting started. After the meeting, lumabas na kami and went to the lobby. Wala naman masiyadong sinabi si Direk. Just a few reminders for us. Also, our shooting will start next week na. 

Yup, ang bilis ng araw. The mystery/thriller movie will be launched to cinemas the day after tomorrow, together with the tragic movie na pinagbidahan ni Kaid, so we're all excited. 

But one thing that excites me the most was my birthday. My birthday will happen on November 10, and it will be my 25th birthday. I'm not excited kasi makakatanggap ako ng mga gifts. No, it's not like that. I'm excited because on that day, I will be able na naman na kumuha ng mga batang lansangan that have a potential sa acting. I am offering them a contract.

Yeah, I'm doing that every birthdays of mine. I started it 'nung nakuha rin ako as an actress. In fact, I already contracted about 150 kids, and I was so happy because halos lahat sila ay successful na ngayon. 'Yung iba pa nga, mas sikat na yata kaysa sa akin.

"Spacing out again, Dariantha?" Ackley asked me.

I shook my head. "No, I was just thinking about some things. By the way, sasama ka ba ulit sa akin when I will offer some kids a contract sa acting?" I asked him back. Kasama ko kasi siya palagi when I'm doing it, e.

Bigla siyang umakbay sa akin at ginulo ang buhok ko. "Of course, Dariantha. Bakit, are you excited already?"

"More than excited," I answered that made us both laughed. "You promise that, ha?"

"Yeah, promise, half-sister ko." For the second time, ginulo na naman niya ang buhok ko before he let me go.

I fixed my hair before facing him. "I'll go now, Ackley. See you tomorrow or the day after tomorrow!" I waved my hand as I went to my manager.

"Let's go, Dariantha." She lead the way, followed by me. Sumakay kami sa sarili naming mga sasakyan before we went to the place kung saan gaganapin ang last shooting namin.

Naka-ready na silang lahat when we arrived. As usual, Lynn was clinging to Dalton again, while the latter has that emotionless facial expression. Mali, nai-inis na expression yata 'yon. But whatever expression is that, sure ako na ayaw niya ang ginagawa ni Lynn.

Well, for me, they look cute.

Pinasok ko ang kamay ko inside my coat, and it looks like I touched something that's very familiar with me. Inilabas ko 'yon, and yes, tama ako. Nahawakan ko 'yung chain pendant necklace na paga-ari ng not-so-anonymous man na nagpapadala ng mga flowers for me.

Yup, not-so-anonymous because as days passed by, my theory was just being more strong. Isa pa, nagpadala siya ng mail 'nung isang araw na nagsasabing he will send another mail for me to know when will we meet.

But if before, I'm so excited. Now, I'm not that excited anymore. Kumbaga, excited ako na hindi.

The shooting had been finished and the antagonist sa movie ay si Lynn. It was because of jealousy. She had been jealous of me since we entered college, and it turns out that it was my family whom she killed. Of course, I mourned sa part na malapit ng matapos ng movie hanggang matapos ito.
