That night at the science fair . Rapunzel had her invention the Mega Dry with Eugene as her
assistant. Varian and Cassandra came in a little while later sense Thay had to git ready after dissension
They got to the spot ware they'll present the invention varian made . After setting up They still had time to spare , so they were asking each other questions so they can git to know each other better
" ok, ok fine , but um .... ok I got a question " varian said after laughing and thinking about what to ask cass next
" go on kid "
" why do you always ware that necklace around your neck " varian asked pointing to the blue circle necklace she was wearing
Cass hesitated and asked varian a question so she didn't have to answer " well why do you always wear your goggles everywhere " " because 1. I love alchemy and you never know wen your going to make a miss calculation" varian said weirdly and continued in a sad tone
" and 2. It's the last thing my mother gave me before......." he said trying to finish, but couldn't. Cassandra sighed and smiled before she began to speak " I understand for the reason I always were this locket is because it's the last thing my mother gave me , and my dad doesn't even know who she is "
She Motioned for him to git closer as she took the necklace off . Once they were close enough cass opened it to show her and her mother together
Varian backed away in fear " y-your mother l-ls Gothel " he stubbled . Cass closed the the necklace before anyone else could see it " shhhhh yes " cass whispered putting a finger over her lips
" so your the daughter of the most wanted criminal in the land " varian asked " yes , I guess I am " Cassandra said in disappointment putting the necklaces back on
Seeing Cassandra's expression the fear went away from varian and he walked back up to her giving her a friendly smile
A few minutes later it was there turn to present the Machine and they won first place . Cass decided to wear the Cassandreum necklace varian made for her , but still couldn't bear to take her mothers necklace off
Cassandra and varian couldn't explain it but they loved to see each other laugh and smile , they just loved hanging out with one another , they just loved ..........each other in general
