Y/N's POV
Feeling hungry , i quickly grabbed some Honey Buddha Chips on the kitchen and went back to the living room. There were multiple cans of Phd Pepper. Sighing to myself as i see that Luciel has been trying to locate mint eye, the one who sent the freaky email. I grabbed the cans , getting the trash out of my table too . Two in one and i don't want to see ants swimming on the residue of those phd pepper cans.
After making sure that, there was no trash , i sat on my spiny chair and opened up multiple files. While waiting, i grabbed my headset and placed it around my neck. I was about to start typing on my keyboard when i heard the security system go off. Checking the security camera, to see that it was just Vanderwood.
" Let me in right now, i'm not in the mood to play games '' he shouted staring directly at the camera lense. Ignoring his request i typed on my keyboard, i need to help Luciel locate the hacker. I mean if they are the same person.
"I'm not kidding let me in'' he shouted in annoyance making me smirk as i thought of something to make him flipped out. I typed a few lines of code on the automated door. I shouldn't have turned off the wirings security. It would be fun to see him getting impatient.
" Please say 'Y/N is a genius ' in arabic'' i said on the microphone on my headset.
"Open the damn door, i told you i am not in the mood to play '' he shouted
" Wrong, self distrust activated''
Sighing in defeat i opened the door for him and watched in the cctv footage as he walked in.
Soon enough i can hear him slammed the door.
" Good Morning to you too Vandy'' i sang , sipping on my coffee as i look at him. "' How are you doing?''
" Is the work done?'' He asked
" Yeah yeah, i'm doing great thank you for asking'' i said sarcastically.
" Answer my question''
" Geez , are you on your period? "' i joked. Spinning my chair around as i put the cup of coffee on my table.
" Agent 404''
" Nope'' i replied making him look at me
" And you Agent 707, did you finish your work?''
" No'' he replied making Vanderwood annoyed
" And why is it not finished?'' He asked
" Geez, you're so hyper Vandy. I'll just finished both of our work,i'm almost finished after all and I can manage Luciel's work . So you just wait there . Alright?'' I said
" How? You have your unfinished work and you have to reprogram the whole algorithm for the boss, do you think you can do that in thirty minutes?'' He asked
" And agent 707, why are you not doing your work?''
" Y/N you don't need to do my work'' i heard Luciel protests but decided to ignore it.
" Lulu , use the extra computer for awhile. I can finish both of the mission. Trust me ''
" I am a genius after all'' i said smiling at him
" You sure?'' He asked
" Yeah, just focus on tracking the hacker ''
" Alright, i owe you one then'' he said as he moved out of his seat .
Great.
Not glancing at Vanderwood and Luciel i immediately typed on my keyboard for a few minutes and finished my work. And with that i spun my spiny chair to Luciel's table- which is just beside mine so it was easy. I typed on his keyboard as i heard Vanderwood groan in annoyance before walking away to do something.
??? POV
" Ensure the special security system was reset last night- Check '' I said as i scrolled through the documents in front of me
" I change all the algorithms so they wouldn't be able to hack back at me and i'm sure that the security system won't go off if i go there'' i said smiling to myself
'' I can just use a rope and go in through the window so i don't have to worry getting caught in the cctv footage in the hallway. The Savior would definitely be happy with this. The plan to control that girl failed so i have to do this, just you wait RFA.. '' i smiled from ear to ear '' You will be in paradise soon, well except for that Luciel, he is not invited and i will make sure that he will be erased in this world '' I crackled my knuckles as i stood up and pulled my mask/ mouth guard.
"' I shall get going hahaha''
Y/N's POV
" Did you guys hear something? "' i asked as i spun around and looked at Vanderwood who is now seating in the sofa, using his phone right now.
" No'' he stated not looking at me. I glanced at Luciel who is busy typing on the extra computer with a headset on. So basucally he can't hear anything, since the sound from his headphones are too loud.
" Did you laugh?'' I asked again
" Haha, happy?'' He asked
" No, it's not like that . That's not what it sounded like''
" Of course not. And do you think i have the time to laugh right now. Both of your jobs are dangerous and if you dont finish that the agency might be put on pressure and you know what till happen to us''
He said completely annoyed
" Only one mission left Vandy , i can manage ''
" Get back to work'' he said making me sighed and face the computer again.
" I definitely heard something though'' i muttered
" If you tell me that you're hearing things and start making a fuss. I'll taser you''
"Hmmmm''
''Agent 404 shut it. Go back to work '' i heard him saying
I know i keep on talking in nonsense but i just want him not to be too agitated and i was telling the truth when i heard someone laugh. Gosh. With that he sighed in frustration and for a moment i heard a loud bang. Making me look a Vanderwood who is now slouched over, his head resting on the coffee table.
'' Vandy, can you get me some coffee?I don't know if there is some left if none then make me some coffee ''
" That?'' He said raising his head up and pointed out the coffee machine.
'' Wait'' he said as he made his way over to the coffee machine.
And as soon as i continued to code i heard a shatter sound.
" what? The handle just broke off. I just cleaned up the mess and now i have to clean up again. JUST GREAT" I said and was about to stand up when Vanderwood talked.
'' Don't mind this and just work. I'll get you a new coffee''
" Yea yea '' i said sighing.
After a while Vanderwood came back with a cup of coffee on his hands. " You're not worried about getting jinxed just because the cup broke or anything like that right?''
" Oh shut it Vandy, i am not that gullible''
" I won't comment on that '' he said. Ignoring him i kept typing . Glancing at Luciel from time to time.
