21. Caught with Your Pants Down

"27th of July, 9:30 am" I say pressing the recording button of the videocamera; "I have just woken up. The boys are giving an interview, I think; and I have to join them in about an hour"

I record my breakfast, making sure none of Niall's belongings appear on the shot. Then I get on the van and record the passengers.

"Morning, Liam" I say, "Say hello to my sister Laura"

"What are you doing?" he asks laughing

"She wanted to know what my day-to-day is like, so I've decided to record her a video"

"Good morning, Laura" he says waving at the camera.

"This is Patrick, Paddy for friends; he's Liam's security. And there's Harry" I say moving the camera towards the youngest member of the band, who also smiles and waves.

Once we're at the stadium I record the surroundings: the inside of the tour bus, the bus itself, the trucks, the trailers...

Then I head back to the stadium and enter the backstage area. The boys are in the middle of a soundcheck break so I take the chance and walk to them. I greet Louis as he runs to the toilet. Liam and Harry are chatting with the band.

I find Zayn sitting on one of the flight cases, looking at the fans who have special soundcheck tickets.

"Hi Zayn!" I say.

He turns around and looks at the camera, smiling.

"Have you seen Niall?" I ask, since he's the only one I haven't caught on camera yet.

"He's somewhere round here" he answers looking around; "I think I've seen him like, by the stage entrance, maybe?"

I stop the camera and look for Niall. Once I've located where he is, I start recording again, approaching him.

"And here's the ugliest person in the whole stadium who attempted to do his quiff all on his own this morning and totally failed" I giggle.

Niall turns around and pulls a face, making me laugh and laughing afterwards.
