Chapter 18

2 weeks later
At The Ranch House
Tim walks into the house and Lou and Amy are sitting at the kitchen table.
"Dad!?" Lou and Amy Said were shocked to see him.
"Well don't all hug me at once." Said Tim sarcastically.
"Ohh Dad." Said Lou running over to hug him.
Amy just walks right past him and out of the house

In the loft
Amy walks into the loft when Ty is taking his shirt off.
"Why didn't you tell me that my dad was coming today!?" Asked Amy angry.
"What? I knew he got out but...I didn't know he was here." Said Ty defensive.
"Well he is." Said Amy annoyed.
"I thought you'd be happier to see him." Said Ty confused.
"I don't know what I am." Said Amy flopping down on the couch sighing.
Ty walks over to her.
"That's okay, take it slow." Said Ty softly.
"How do you feel about it?" Amy asked, worried.
"I don't know. I might know when I see him again." Said Ty unsure.
Amy pulls Ty to sit him down with her. Amy points at the giant burn on the top of Ty's chest.
"What is that from?" Asked Amy softly.
Ty flintches unsurly.
"It-they...the people who took me...they branded me. So that I-I would be there's forever." Said Ty creeped out.
"Does it hurt?" Asked Amy
"Not anymore. Why don't you go try to see your dad before you hunts you down." Said Ty.
"Okay." Said Amy with a fake grin.

The Ranch House
Tim is sitting at the kitchen table and Jacks walks around the corner.
"What made you think you'd be able to just walk in the house after what you did." Said Jack pissed.
Amy walks into the house.
"Give me a break Jack. Ty forgave me, maybe you should try that." Said Tim annoyed.
"No I talked to Ty he didn't forgive you! He's not even comfortable with you being here. He was shaking this morning when he knew you were out! The only reason he let you out is because he knew your daughters and granddaughter missed you! He loves them." Said Jack defensively.
"He's just being ridiculous! No guy would be that scared." Said Tim
Amy whips around the corner pissed.
"You need to leave! Now!" Said Amy red.
"Amy-" started Tim.
"No! Just go!" Yelled Amy.
Tim sighs and walks past Amy and out the door.
Lou walks into the kitchen.
"What happened?" Asked Lou
"Dad's a jackass that's what!" Said Amy pissed
She storms past her sister.
"You still think Ty's the bad guy now?" Asked Jack
Lou sighs and Jack walks away.

In The Loft
Ty's on the couch sound asleep. He is covered in sweat and is having another nightmare. When Tim walks into the loft.
"Ty." Whispers Tim.
Ty tosses and turns and wipers.
"No." Winned Ty.
Tim sighs seeing that he's clearly hurt Ty a lot.
"No, no don't please..." Begged Ty in his sleep.
Tim walks over and shakes Ty trying to wake him.
"No let me go." Winned Ty in pain.
Jack walks into the loft behind Tim.
"Let him alone and get out." Demanded Jack.
Tim turns around and sees Jack.
"Jack I was just-" started Tim.
"No you've put him through enough now get out!" Demanded Jack.
Tim sighs and walks out of the loft. Ty tosses again and wines. Jack walks over and shakes Ty wake gentally. Ty jumps up scared.
"Ty your fine it's Jack." Said Jack softly.
"Jack what are you doing up here?" Ty Asked confused and catching his breath.
"I came to see how you are doing. Especially with Tim being here." Said Jack.
"Oh thanks. I'm fine." Said Ty
"Really that why you're covered in sweat and having a nightmare." Said Jack.
"I've been having nightmares, Jack it's fine. I'm going to go get cleaned up." Said Ty brushing it off.
Jack nods and Ty gets up from the couch and walks to the bathroom in pain.
Jack knows Ty is not okay and that he's really hurting when Amy walks in behind him.
"You might want to make sure Ty takes his pain pills, he's hurting more than he says." Said Jack.
Amy nods.
"I'm not sure Ty should have let dad out." Said Amy sadly.
"He did it cause he loves you." Said Jack.
"I know but...my dad's not a good person, grandpa." Said Amy sadly.
"I'll tell you the same thing I told Ty. Just Because you hope someone gonna change doesn't mean they will." Said Jack.
Amy sighs.
"Why does a part of me wish Ty left him in jail now." Asked Amy in tears.
Jack walks over and hugs Amy.
"Because he's no longer the dad you loved." Said Jack softly.
"What are we going to do grandpa?" Asked Amy sadly.
"Give it some time." Said Jack.
