When Universes Collide...(Young Justice and Teen Titans Crossover) [ON HIATUS]

Chapter 2: Confrontation

As soon as he completed the sentence, the Titan computer came up with the notification of
"Incoming video call.....Incoming Video call.....".

"A video call? So early in the morning?" Said Cyborg with obvious confusion.

"I have a feeling that this video call is going to be on this topic only" said Robin as he moved forward to receive the call.
As the screen opened, every Titan from each branch was present. It was a group call. It might either be a coincidence that they all called at the same time or they consulted before and then called the founders.

"I believe I know what is the reason for this meeting" said Robin as he crossed his arms.
The other titans came in front of the screen.
Bumblebee was a bit surprised but then answered "Then you do know about the Justice League's recent statement?"

"We do" said Robin.

"So...What's the plan?"

Speedy interrupted.
"The Justice League gave us an offer?! How can we reject! Let's sign up already! They will treat us equals! Yaay!"
Bumblebee and rest of her team already looked annoyed as they gave a glare at him by turning back on the screen and everyone present in the chat gave him a glare and Speedy laughed nervously and hid himself.
(Honorary Titans are present as well.)

"I hereby request the leaders of all the Teen Titans branches to step forward" declared Robin.

Bumblebee and Pantha stepped forward.
The Team members took one step back in a manner of respect.

"As we all know of the Justice League's recent statement regarding us and taking us in. What are your opinions?" Asked Robin.

"It's a really good deal but giving up a title for another doesn't seem very right to me" Pantha said.

"It is a really good deal infact...But if they treat us like kids and try to be our self appointed mentors it kinda will be disappointing. Some of my team mates are convinced that they will do so...So I don't think it would be great idea."
Said Bumblebee.

From Titans North, they didn't have a leader but they decided Argent to speak and she said "Agreed. But they said they will treat us as equals, so I don't think it will be bad."

The honorary titans were gathered in one place.
Kid Flash, Wonder Girl were suprised since they knew it was not going to happen. Same goes for Aqualad and Robin.
It took a while to process that for Speedy in his kind but eventually even he realised that he will be a side kick once again.

"Sadly that's what is going to happen." Said Speedy assuringly .

Everyone was surprised at his sudden change of decision but they accepted that since they knew how much Speedy valued his own Independence.

"Agreed." Said Aqualad.

"It's the better truth" said Wonder Girl sadly.

"C'mon! We are better off as we are! Independent!" Said Kid Flash in a deep voice very unlikely to his character.

Some of the Titans were a bit of confused so Red Star finally asked "How are you all so sure?"

"Because we were their former protégés". Said Robin.

Titans West (Robin's team) knew fully about it since they knew about his past and most of the other Titans were aware of the fact that they were indeed served as former sidekicks.

Everyone was silent.

"But soon through one way or another, they will try to contact us, so should we just...Ignore 'em?"
