The bell for lunch goes off and Mia gathers all of her stuff and puts it into her locker
As Mia is putting stuff into her locker she feels a body close behind her so she hurries to put things away and slowly turns around
"Well hello there mamas" Bryce says
"I gotta get to lunch to meet Jacob" Mia says a little to quiet then she meant to say
Mia starts to feel sick and uncomfortable so she tries to make her way around Bryce but he just pushes Mia into the locker and pins her against it
Mia's eyes go wide and she starts getting scared
Mia hears a voice she's never heard before but she's beyond happy to hear it
"Bryce stop let's get to lunch Jake's gonna drink all of it before we even get there" Cole says staring at Mia
Finally Bryce moves and Mia can see it's Cole and gives him a look as to say thank you but he only rolls his eyes at her
"Would you like to walk with us since you kinda look like a lost puppy who needs help finding the way?" Cole asks not daring to look at Mia
"Uhm yea sure uhm thanks" Mia says
Bryce turns around and smiles a suspicious smile at Mia
Mia's picked up from behind and spun around which makes Mia scream
"Hi there bubs" Jacob says as he puts Mia down and turns her to face him
"You asshole" Mia says as she slaps his shoulder gently
"Well fine if I'm an asshole I guess I won't give you a piggyback ride to the cafeteria then" Jacob says and turns away and starts slowly walking away
"Hey no way I deserve a piggyback ride after that mini heart attack" Mia says pouting and runs and jumps onto Jacobs back
Jacob, Mia, and Bryce laugh
"Well damn if you like piggybacks so much I'm sure all the guys in our friend group will give you one even the girls if they physically can" Jacob says
"Not all of them but thanks I guess" Mia says putting her head into Jacob's shoulder
Jacob laughs knowing I was talking about how grumpy Cole acts
"I know I sure wouldn't mind mamas" Bryce says winking at Mia
Mia digs deeper into Jacobs shoulder
"Dumbass" Cole says under his breath slapping his head
Mia, Jacob, Bryce, and Cole all finally get to the cafeteria so Jacob puts Mia down
They all get to the table with all their friends
"Finally you guys are here and you guys brought Mia" Addison says smiling excited
"Well duh we couldn't just leave her to fend for herself" Jacob laughs
"Well thanks for that and hi addi thanks for letting me sit with you guys" Mia says giving Addison a warm smile
"Always mimi" Addison says
All the girls giggle and smile
The boys are busy talking about Jake's drink
"Who wants some?" Jake asks everyone at the table
All the girls and guys raise their hands while Mia looks confused
Jacob grabs Mia's hand and raises it for her
"Are you sure Jakey boy that she can handle this? I don't want to be the reason she dies it's strong and I'm not sure she's that kind of girl" Jake says nicely worried for the new girl he just met
"Believe me if it's like the last batch she'll love it even if she acts like she doesn't" Jacob says
"Ok if you're really sure" Jake says giving a warm smile to Mia
Jake hands out milk jugs that he sneaks into school for drinks like this
Everyone starts drinking it but your unsure at first until you see the others drink first
"Holy shit that's strong but good Jake" Addison says
"Damn man do you have more of that for next time we have a party?" Josh says
"Damn that's good" Anthony says
"Holy hell" Avani says
"Yummy" Jacob says
"This shit is fire bro" Cole says
"I think imma die" Tracey says coughing
Mia finally takes a sip which everyone was waiting for but didn't wanna push her into it
"Wait is this homemade moonshine Jake?" Mia says quietly enough to be heard by only their table
"Yup not your style huh?" Jake says sweetly
Mia drinks more
"It's amazing you may have to let me buy a jar from you next batch" Mia replies smiling at Jake
Everyone's jaw drops
"What?" Mia says starting to get nervous
"Just wow we thought you'd hate it or something you seem like you wouldn't like alcohol" Avani
"There's some more things about me that would surprise you" Mia says shrugging her shoulders
"Well we'll have to learn more about you which I wanted anyways" Addison says smiling
Mia giggles and finishes off her drink
Josh grabs Jake's extra milk jug and pours it into Mia's
Mia gives a small smile as to say thank you to Josh and Josh just nods his head slightly and smiles at Mia as to say no problem
Mia finish's her moonshine right before the bell starts signaling lunch is over
Everyone says their goodbyes and most of the people give Mia a hug but Mia wouldn't hug Bryce because she gets a bad feeling about him
The rest of the day goes by pretty fast so once schools over Mia heads out to her car and Jacob comes running over to hug Mia goodbye
Mia drives home
When Mia gets home she does her homework, makes herself dinner, and then gets ready for bed
